I love driving the backroads of Washburn County, Wisconsin in during the fall colors season. Awe inspiring scenes around so many bends in the road.
The sun peaks through the colorizing canopy of a wild Dogwood Tree on the farm. We're usually way behind every place else when it comes to fall color and usually don't reach a peak until mid to late November. Have a great evening and thanks for the visit.
The Fall River just below Chasm Falls. You have to travel the Old Fall River Road to get to this location.
That is the name of this water fall and it was located in.... Falling Waters West Virginia! LOL Not a huge water fall at only 15 feet but pretty and the sight of two Civil War battles. The path down to it was extremely steep but I got this far! Anita was able to get all the way down to the foot of it but had a difficult time coming back up. It was our destination for the day (week before yesterday) and we actually made it there ......as often as not we get side tracked and never get to where we had in mind! . How they fought on this steep, rocky terrain, I wouldn't know as I had trouble just staying steady and upright! LOL Have a great day everyone!
my daughter Lilja had idea that I have to get shot when she is falling down. Meaning is that she is so tired and she want to sleep so bad, so she falling where she stand.

This is not my type of story... a sad story. I love to photograph all kinds of little flying creatures and I became an unwitting witness... I took a few pictures. A spider and a fly. Nature. Early fall.

This, too, is a reflection of the Wenatchee River in Leavenworth, Washington. You can see the footbridge that connects the Waterfront Park to Blackbird Island. The waterfront is quite lovely with walking trails all along the river in Leavenworth. Hope you enjoy...and get a little taste of the fall colors in Leavenworth, WA.
