Well, it's fall and flickr is starting to get inundated with autumn pictures. So what's one more, right?

Summer heat isn't for me, so I retreated indoors for about 3 months without taking a single photo. Fortunately for me, the weather took a pleasant turn, and Lys reached out to see if I wanted to take a break from my hermit ways and venture out into the sun with a camera for a little while.
Every time I've had a significant gap between photo shoots, I am certain I'm done and that I've forgotten everything I knew before. The good news is that I never knew that much to begin with, so I can claw my way back to some form of competency pretty easily. The most important thing is always catching up with fun people like Lys and having a laugh while stressed out college kids head to class, wondering what antique contraption I'm using to take photos. And thanks to her, I had something new to share now that Polaroid Week has come back around for us to enjoy!
The first signs of fall, I spotted near the end of August. A quick search through books and internet, and I couldn't figure out what plant this is. I never really studied botany, but if someones knows, I'd love to find out...
