Fall Scene along Des Plaines river trail bridge.

Fall foliage in front of a home at sunset.

Maybe I'll get to spring tomorrow.

My name is Carey and besides Photography my passion is music.

I am a singer/songwriter and if you enjoy my photos I would love hear what you think of my music.

If you go to www.Jango.com , an internet radio site, and put in Carey Newton as the artist you can listen to some of my songs.

I also have a free download of the song Enchanted Mountain at

www.cdbaby.com/cd/careynewton

Can also be found on iTunes

As I slowly return to my photography, I'm also preparing to return to my faux bois (concrete wood) work. It seems every fallen stick has a story to tell before it feeds the fire for warmth.

Fall foliage reflected on the surface of Thornton Lake, in the Hiawatha National Forest. I wanted to let the slight motion on the lake work with the reflected colors. I set ISO to 50, closed down to f/22, and let the shutter speed go where it pleased, which turned out to be 1.6 seconds.

Enjoying the fall light and color

Fall touches Odenton MD

Beautiful fall color on old cypress trees reflected on the calm water of this small cove

I'm falling in the black

Slipping through the cracks

Falling to the depths

Can I ever go back?

Dreaming of the way it used to be

Can you hear me?

Falling in the black

Slipping through the cracks

Falling to the depths

Can I ever go back?

Falling inside the black

The black

I love fall .. LOVE. Love love love love love love love love. So much. Yes.

:-)

I went on a mini photo adventure over lunch (partly because I still haven't taken any fall pictures and also because it's my last day with my camera), and I got so many strange looks and people stopping... Have you never seen a camera? Or a girl all giddy over the colorful leaves holding one? :))

I guess this counts as a second HBW. (I could easily make it 200; I was a bit snap-happy.) Who could resist these leaves?

Fall in our part of the world paints life with special colors. Muted mornings on an area lake serve as a palate for the Great Painter to lavish spectacular scenes that warm our memories in the white months that follow.

Looking forward to all the great fall colors and my 50mm f/1.4.

Originally made for the 2014 MocOlympics TFOL Fatal Four-Way. I'm now entering this into Beautiful Lego 3. The moc is meant to be some sort of Fall altar, with a picture of a leaf, a pumpkin, a corncob and an apple all placed in front of a wall on a wooden tray.

A few colors from Mendocino County

I went cycling yesterday to see the fall colours. It was an enjoyable experience aside from the wind. According to the markings, it appears that this bridge was built in 1919.
