Here is another image taken with my 50mm f/1.8 Series E manual focus lens from forty years ago. This lens has absolutely no distortion and is very sharp. It also is very inexpensive.
Yes, fall is nearing the later stages and winter will soon be here. We have had very few spurts of cold weather thus far, so maybe it will be a milder winter here in the mid-Atlantic.

After our cold snap a few days ago, we suddenly have fall color all over the place! I went out yesterday to get a few shots. We never know how long fall color will last here in the south... or if we'll even get much at all. Some years the leaves pretty much go from green to brown. This year, though, things are looking beautiful!
My one and only fall shot...I didn't have any chance to go out and take pictures this fall, and now I really regret it.
