I was driving down a back country Oregon road, a little fast, when this beautiful road embraced in Fall colors took me by surprise. I could still smell the burning brakes when I came back from taking a photograph. The fog was a nice touch! This will be a great place to take a family portrait too!

One of the many beautiful trees at the Washington State capital campus. This area is full of amazing, bright colors every fall.

Fall, is my favorite time of the year. Unfortunately a serious illness has been keeping me from my passion. After months of deteriorating health, and testing, I believe they may finally have an answer for me. A long recovery, is in my future. But the word recovery is a godsend. My hands are shakey right now, so commenting is most diffucult. But the beauty of your wonderful work is better than all the medicine
they have me on now. So many talented artists....I long for the day when I can resume
my passion and share.

As the peak fall colors were upon me, I decided to take some advantage of it while in my busy university/work balance. Here is VIA 72 at VIA Tecumseh about 2 weeks ago with a F40 leader
I understand now why those of you who live across The Pond call Autumn Fall, as this when the leaves drop from the trees to carpet the ground.

Here is another image taken with my 50mm f/1.8 Series E manual focus lens from forty years ago. This lens has absolutely no distortion and is very sharp. It also is very inexpensive.
Yes, fall is nearing the later stages and winter will soon be here. We have had very few spurts of cold weather thus far, so maybe it will be a milder winter here in the mid-Atlantic.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the day!
The leaves are falling fast now, and I was fortunate to capture this shot last week before the winds came.
