Falling Water Falls, a waterfall along Falling Water Creek, which is reached via Falling Water Road. The falls are in the Ozark National Forest in northern Arkansas.
The Fall rut is a big event in the whitetail community. This little six-point decided he'd get in on it, too. He was chasing this doe incessantly, clueless to the fact that he is just wearing her down so one of the mature bucks can breed her. Maybe his time will come, but not this year. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

I really thought the lack of light would not offer a decent shot here, but for the most part, I am pleased for the most part with this. Cypress Gardens, Moncks Corner South Carolina, November 20, 2013.
Continuing our four year-strong tradition of sunset fall shoots in Stowe, Vermont - we're never stopping. This is one of our favourite photos from this year/maybe ever? It also happens to be from our last ever roll of Kodak Portra 400VC, which was discontinued like three years ago, but we've been hoarding it. Seems like the perfect send off for our all-time favourite film.

The days have grown shorter and the air is cool and crisp. The trees have responded by changing colors as they reabsorb nutrients before jettisoning the leaves for their winter siesta. The color -- the fiery orange of the oak trees -- appears in bursts throughout the Longleaf pine forests
One lone leaf on the grass from the neighbours maple tree. In past years the colours of the leaves were vibrant reds.

Took this pictures during the camping in Hardin Ridge, IN. This image has the distortion as I have not corrected it in post processing. It was taken with Rokinon 8mm Fisheye.
A pose from a fast-paced mini shoot-a-thon that included a few good photos and a lot of blurred images and empty frames. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

Trying out a little bit of creativity where one finds a unique perspective on a common scene. In this image, the introduction of intentional camera movement (ICM) of panning down while the shutter is open allows you to "see" a traditional scene in a different way.

Falling Flowers for Macro Mondays Theme: Intentional Blur.
This week's theme was such a challenge and I spent way too much time on it. A fun theme but so conflicting trying to capture blur when I have spent so long trying to avoid it! HMM...
Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.
This happened today. A couple of dear friends and I went to explore Laguna Negra in Soria, which is three hours away from where we live. It may have been a long daytrip, but let me tell you that it's been one of the most colorful days of my life. I've never seen any landscape in such vivid colors before, and the photo that I present here tonight was just the beginning of what has been an incredible surprise. Just wait until you see what I have for your eyes in the next few days.
