I've had this obsession this summer with my sprinkler system wanting to capture some kind of creative shot. This is all I could muster since most of the time I'm scrambling to get the kids in the car for school.
The sunset that night was one of spectacular color. Not a typical sky with clouds to catch the light, instead the intense orange of the sun's rays against the dark blue from the St Laurence Seaway fed by the Atlantic Ocean. My wife was a big help with everything as the sun seems to pickup speed quickly falling beneath the horizon.
Another couple were beside us as he and his wife were at work photographing the sunset set as well. However, they were shooting another couple sitting in adirondack chairs enjoying the scene. And in unison, we all enjoyed nature's light show given various reasons.

NS 12R Rolls over the Catawaba River with NS 4000 in the consist. With it being right at the beginning of fall the leaves made a nice contrast to the Blue of 4000s scheme.
