Total failure to get a nice pic of me and Hols before she goes off to uni. We were either laughing so much that everything was blurry or I was pushing the button at the wrong time. These are the best 2!!!!
Oh and my glasses look HUGE in this photo, they aren't, it's the shadows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Photography is the story I fail to put into words.
Peru is a country in western South America. It is bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the west by the Pacific Ocean.
Peru is a magical destination, abundant with ancient ruins dating back to the Incas.
Peru is the third largest country in South America, after Brazil and Argentina.

7 tent fail-- Three big problems with our first test run. The wall pieces are all wider than the corresponding roof pieces, by about two inches each in this picture. The ring is wound too tight, so it's too close to the roof (you'll see this in another image). The spokes are too short, which is why you see the sagging between the roof panels. We were crushed by the fact that the the wall and roof panels were differently sized.
Ooops.
I've taken photos for the last 209 days in a row, and today I missed one.
I'm giving myself a break though. My 365 started as a photo project, but it's kind of become a diary for me so if I miss a photo, then I'll just put a reason in the caption and I can still look back and understand that at times, there just *isn't* the time for photography.
Today was the day before my sister's wedding - and I'm best man and photographer when I can fit bits in. So, by later in the evening, I had a speech to write and my 365 went out my mind.
The shot you see if from January this year. It's my 400D with the 85 f/1.2 on. And it looks very, very silly. So I'll take any further missed 365's as an opportunity to present something daft.
Even with the glued card showing how to insert the card people were observed struggling with the parking card. The attendant keeps coming over to help people figure it out. #FAIL
So, I was trying to think of some interesting way to present a diamond ring (the fact that the only diamonds I have are surrounding an emerald, not really a diamond ring at all, didn't stop me. I don't care for them much.) Where was I? Oh yeah...thinking of the context of a diamond ring.
So I was thinking of the engagement trick of putting a ring in a wine glass, and what would happen if it didn't work. So the picture is semi-interesting anyway.
Taken specifically for the Monthly Scavenger Hunt.
