lmfao. Garret was throwing sour patch kids in the air and Colby was trying to catch them in his mouth.
I tried to make dinner for my girlfriend and me for a change. Should've known I was in over my head when the recipe required monitoring more than one pot at once. It was a complete failure so we ended up pulling a Tombstone out of the freezer. Sigh.
Seeking a photo op for the Denver Digital Photography Meetup group's September photo contest on the theme of Colorado History, I rode down to see if I could get some pics of the Highlands Ranch Mansion, a rare gem of history in the otherwise bleak, McMansioned landscape of this southern suburb of Denver.
I read beforehand that it was owned by Shea Homes and was not open to the public, but I thought for sure I'd at least have a photo-worthy view of the place. Wrong. :P To add insult to injury, the mansion was open just last weekend for a tour, yet of course I only found this out exactly one week too late. Doh!
At least I now know it exists and can keep my eyes open for other opportunities to tour this interesting historical site.
The large coral tree and other trees had destroyed the concrete block retaining wall. The wall at the right is completely gone, and wall before the deck supports is badly cracked.

MySpace wants me to enter in a verification code so I can login.
But...I can't see it :(.
EDIT: I keep clicking the refresh button to give me a new captcha code but it doesn't who up at all. Awesome.
While I failed completely to get any actual in-the-air-jumping shots, I couldn't not upload this one, it just cracks me up too much. (All cropped now!)
To those about to jump, I salute you.
The coffee itself wasn't a fail. I'm just trying to get my hand to pour a latte properly. :P
It all started out OK, but halfway through it all went pear-shaped (or is it an apple?) and I realised that I was pouring too quickly. Ah well. Try, try again. :)
Oh dear!
Well on day 211 I was working, having a huge head ache and setting off for holiday and forgetting to take my toy photo!
I wondered if I could get away with it seeing as I was so busy and ill but then something went wrong when I was extracting a whole fortnight holiday's photos and I lost 30%-50% of the middle of the photos.
Above is the toy photos I salvaged to mark the end of my failed 365 toy project.
I could have just continued but wouldn't have been satifsied.
I think I'll start again very soon from day 1 again!
Ho hum!
