When trying to install outlook 11, an error message appears, that outlook 11 has to be installed first. #epic #fail
Poor guy spent his whole battery trying to get unstuck. He couldn't even make his own way to the base station when I freed him. I had to carry him home.
So Vicky and I bought loads of fireworks and only took a selection of them out to light. We didn't have anything to secure the nail into the tree with, so it wasn't very secure as you can see. I will try some better attempts at capturing Catherine wheels... maybe buy three identical Catherine wheels and capture them at different light levels and get a HDR out of it or something?
The FRIENDLY FIRE conference wishes to explore how we could embrace conflicts in order to make societies more democratic. To begin with, the project asks: What is it for any person to become a citizen, today? What is it for citizens and non-citizens alike to become political actors in fields of dissent?
The 17th BG Annual Conference took place November 2–4, 2017 at ZK/U – Center for Arts and Urbanistics, Siemensstrasse 27, 10551 Berlin.

This was one of many failed experimental weapons designed for the frontline. The aim was to have a powerful rifle with an integrated 30 mm grenade launcher in one package. Troops found it very clunky and heavy and was thus discarded from the armoury.
Love this 'detournement de logo' as we say in French (logo hijack - not sure it translates really well in English). Outside a printer's shop (I think) in East London.
Week 3: alternate painting (fail!)
Yeah, I ended up making two paintings this week again. This was my original, and I just can't seem to finish it. It needs something more. I want to add some shadows under the window as well as some flowers to the pot.
The color inspiration for the window and the wall were some of the photos of San Francisco posted on the course blog. I used to live in Sacramento, CA and I do miss the color palette out West....
I also tried to do what Lisa suggested with muted colors/blurry lines vs more pure color/sharp lines to add some dimension, but I failed miserably in that regard. :)
Critical feedback/suggestions are appreciated.

Journaling reads:
"Shit always hits the fan when I'm working. Snowstorms. Percon dying during inventory. Flooding. Exploding toilets. Broken entry doors. Alarms that won't stop & power outages. Killer geese. It never fails! At least I have some awesome co-workers who keep me laughing & smiling-and who save the day by saving lunch! Adventures!"

Trying out Instagram, the filters worked. But when it came time to upload it, the uploading consistently failed.
Ikea lamp fail #2. This time the huge power brick from my lamp fell apart. I suppose this is better than catching fire: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ckrug/2949545455/
