Light as a feather, candyfloss tendrils!
(These are not yarn falls... they are hand felted with a gorgeous swirled effect around a strong, lofty core! They have been tested by Ro for dance-whipability and passed with flying colors! Literally! lol...)
I LOVE labarodite!!! It is such a beautiful stone with awesome metaphysical properties. This gorgeous stone is set in polymer clay and accented with mica powders. The stone measures a little over 1". Blue striations sparkle and flash and remind me of trees through a forest. Comes on an 18" black buna cord and sterling clasp.

I had a very special new addition to my tiny resin family arrive yesterday. Isn't she beautiful!
I've had a love affair with this girl since I discovered BJDs, and I couldn't believe my luck when I had the opportunity to adopt her recently.
She is my little faerie, she tells me she is most comfortable in amongst the flowers and the woodlands, but she is happy to be here all the same. I shall have to see what I can do to make her feel at home here.
She hasn't yet whispered her name to me. I think that will come when she truely feels at home, so we shall wait...
Thank you so much Emilie for letting me adopt her! She is just wonderful :)
Sign about the Norman occupation of Knowth - July 25, 2012: Bru na Boinne, Ireland. (c) 2012 - photography by Leaf McGowan, technogypsie.com. More about Knowth: www.technogypsie.com/reviews/?p=988 (published):One of Irelands most famous Neolithic passage graves, Knowth is in the valley of the Boyne River, at the ancient monument of Brú na Bóinne nearby famous Newgrange. This monument was built after Newgrange, roughly 5,000 B.C.E. (Before the Common Era). It is believed to have been built before Dowth. It is similiar in size to Newgrange, but is surrounded by 18 satellite mounds. The 'Great Mound' has two passages with entrances in the opposite sides - passage on the west is 34 meters long, passage on the east is 40 meters long, both ending at a cruciform chamber with a corbelled roof. Mythologically believed to be a Faerie mound - A Sidhe - Archaeologists catalogue the site as a passage grave based on three recesses and basin stones found within the chambers into which the cremated remains of the dead were placed. More about the Bru na Boinne: www.technogypsie.com/reviews/?p=987. * aka "Palace of the Boyne" or "Bend of the Boyne" * Knowth/Newgrange, Donore, Co. Meath, Ireland * UNESCO World Heritage Site *"Bru na Boinne" is the name of a Boyne River Valley section that is home to the World Heritage sites consisting of the Tumulus Sidhe known as "Knowth", "Dowth", and "Newgrange". These monuments are the largest and one of the most important prehistoric megalithic sites in Europe that consist of a complex of neolithic chamber tombs, standing stones, henges, and other prehistoric enclosures dating as early as 35th century B.C.E. (predating the Egyptian pyramids)

Vpon a great aduenture he was bond,

That greatest Glorious Queene of Faerie lond,

To proue his puissance in battell braue

Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/
