My occasional 3rd daughter gifted my two always daughters these sweet faeries from a set of 3. I caught them in the act of making a wish for all good things to come to the charming girls who dream of being sisters.
Seen at the Texas Renaissance Festival, held each October and November in the piney woods near Magnolia, Texas.
24 5 x 5 pages for The Faerie Zine doll house fat book page swap, hosted by Lisa Kettell. I did all originals with girly paper (Wild Asparagus and K and Company to name two), vintage sheet music, rub-ons, distress ink, some baby images from Joanne Thieme Huffman; German scrap from Moline on etsy, vintage lace, velvet, pompons, and other assorted trims, fairies from Lisa's Altered Art on ebay and her Web site (different Lisa), buttons, fancy paperclips, glitter, gold leaf, dress form images from Altered Kat on etsy, and some pages have some vintage ladies' calling cards attached. This is a orton. I didn't want the water to be blurred, I liked the stones. I also didn't want to save it and reopen so I could use the history, if I didn't save, I'd have removed the curves etc. So I used a 4th layer and was messing around with the rock wall and hit on linear burn...it gave it a fairy looking feel I think
