The Peatbog Faeries closed the 2011 Cambridge Folk Festival with their wonderful mix of folk fiddle and bagpipes with electronic dance music. The set got off to a false start as the PA wasn't working. The band could hear themselves through the monitors and must have thought it odd that the crowd were clapping out of time and chanting 'turn it up' and 'we can't hear'. Once sound was restored they played a storming set

Today I had 7 actors at the costume shop to try on costumes for the upcoming production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in the parks of the city of West Hollywood this summer.

 

There is one mechanical who is a woman- she's pretty- here she is as her faerie pirate.

White parachutes from neighboring cottonwood trees catch the glow of the morning sun.

other part of the CD- now I have to make a tree thing to connect them. It's a digipak and I'm making a triptych.

Today Morgan, Mary and I made faeries from sculpey and silk flowers.

I'd say someone believes in the power of... mmmm, friendship? Faeries? that's quite a twinkle on the port wingtip.
