Why, Hello.
Yeah.. been a while since I uploaded something. I needed that break.
But now I'm back. :)
Rendered in Poser 7 with some post work. Hair is drawn.
I HATE FLICKR SHARPING MY PICTURES.
Seems like Flickr resized the size of the image.
Anyway, here's the full version.

Berck / Long exposure
EDIT: j'ai finalement remplacé le vertorama par une version simple. Merci pour vos avis !
I have been playing with the faded stamping technique I did on this card.
I really like the technique. You have to be very careful how firm (or not firm!) to press the inkpad on the stamp!
I'v photographed this several times. Each time the flag fades a little more and i'm afraid that it will not be there much longer. So i hope that i did it justice this time.
The sun is low in the sky, the fading light is creating shadows that mock the remaining color with muted shadows. The colors not in shadow, are vivid and almost unreal they are so intense. Minutes to go now, must rush to set up the tripod and catch what I can. That big shadow frames those wonderfully strong colors so I include it. Click, its all over now, nothing left but night and it is time to leave.
Another image showing how decay can be rather photogenic. An old wall with a fading sign which has been repainted at different times. Taken in Burnham-on-Sea,
Rather faded blue livery 33111 heads 1520 Norden-Swange with two smart green liveried Bullied coaches. Note the correct headcode for the Swanage route in the latter days of operation.
Fog in trees on hazy day,
makes many scared or fade away.
When no one is adrift in smoke,
then 'round and 'round you lonely walk.
Siren, sitting watching me as the light fades out...

As usual, I spent the day (yesterday) faffing about and then decided to try and take a photo far too late in the day! A 30sec exposure and grainy as hell, but she still looks good to me <3
"Her smile was like a fading laughter,
haunting,
as if I'd loved her
once in a dream -
And then like a dream
she was gone,
but with me still,
that fading laughter.

One of the markers on the shoreline, once bright yellow, now fading in the light and weather, and rusting in the salty, sea air (makes for a nice photo subject though, against the blue of the water!)
I try to breathe
Memories overtaking me
I try to face them but
the thought is too
Much to conceive
I only know that I can change
Everything else just stays the same
So now I step out of the darkness
That my life became 'cause
(chorus)
I just needed someone to talk to
You were just too busy with yourself
You were never there for me to
Express how I felt
I just stuffed it down
Now I'm older and I feel like
I could let some of this anger fade
But it seems the surface
I am scratching
Is the bed that I have made
So where were you
When all this I was going through
You never took the time to ask me
Just what you could do
I only know that I can change
Everything else just stays the same
So now I step out of the darkness
That my life became 'cause
Repeat(chorus)

For Self Portrait Challenge -- 'tiny words'
Used this texture by pareeerica (again!)
My first attempt at 'cloning' -- interesting technique.
"Truth is the torch that gleams through the fog without dispelling it."
I think this quote fits well to this photo. | Facebook
The darkness which is my heart, surrounds me...
The insecurity I was born with, fills my soul...
The silence the world extends to me is deafening...
I fear no more, for my existence fades...
My apologies for not posting for so long.
This creation was difficult and fun. I really like how it came out, even if it is far from perfect. I have re-edited this dozens of times, it is finally time to let if fly, or fail...
