Built to remember a large factory on the East Side of the Hawthorne Bridge that went up in smoke many years ago, showing the importance of the East Side of Portland Oregon in the early years.
So, I was lucky enough to shoot in the old Checker Cab Co. Pretty nice of em I think. Shoot went well, but it was VERY dark. That's why things turned out so grainy. All in all good times had by all.

The gunpowder factory with the original name of Ferrarias de El-Rei was comissioned by King Manuel I and operated from 1487 until 1988. From 1487, it worked for the manufacture of weapons, and only in 1618 operated the first workshop for the manufacture of black powder. The gunpowder factory adapted and adjusted to the various types of gunpowder until its closure in 1988. Since 1995 the City Council has taken care of the factory and dedicated it to cultural activities, leisure and fun.
Clackline is a small settlement in the hills 80km east of Perth.
In 1898 two gold prospectors discovered a huge deposit of fine quality clay in the area and established the Clackline Firebrick Company.
The factory's products were used by many government departments, gold mines and railways for use in furnaces, some even being exported.
The factory had an on and off history until it finally closed in the late 1980s. It is now on the WA Heritage List.

The light was refracting amazingly well through the car window. It made the rain much more fun and made for a nice abstract.

Once a Vectron leaves the factory at Allach, near Munich they rarely stay in their white base livery for long.
One exception is 193 960 which is on hire to Ecco Rail seen passing Thüngersheim (between Gemünden am Main and Würzburg) with a Southbound intermodal service.
