Why the fuck “healing”doesn’t come with an instruction manual?
We always show the side where we appear okay when we’re really not..
It’s okay to not be okay.

So often, I find myself and others naturally shy away from difficult situations. However, life would not be without the rain. Growth is only made possible through the storm. The use of each experience is left to each individual to make of it what they will. Please view my gallery "The Art of Living" for some stunning photographs depicting the different stages and cycles of life. This shot was taken with lomo app. The gamma was raised in mill colour. Slight contrast and exposure adjustments in ps mobile. Thanks for viewing!!!

Facing the bay from San Francisco, this sunset shot also includes the moon and, in the distance, the Golden Gate.
The front faces the towering flood wall on West Front Street. It's the last house on street before the flood wall turns southward into a parking lot. Despite it's foundation issues and its lack of an Ohio River view, the house is beautifully decorated and the yard has some great plantings. The Ohio River Valley has a long history of devastating floods and a lot of sacrifices were made to accommodate the flood wall.

Who would have thought that in 2026 we'd see this image again: a train bound for Madrid on line 310. Only this time... via Albacete, of course.
The 333.310 is responsible for this curious transfer of a 313 to Villaverde as it passes through Aldaia.

I can't tell you the feeling I had that morning. The cool wind rushing through the Earthship as soon as the door opened. The smells of the desert, sage and earth, raven flying overhead, calling to him, Sun blinding my bedroom eyes...pure joy
Lagoa Funda, Flores Island, Azores, Portugal.
“Lagoa Funda”, which translates to deep lake, is the largest of the seven crater lakes in the central plateau of the Island of Flores. Surrounded by mountains, laurel forests and misty fogs it’s also, in my opinion, the most beautiful and impressive of them all.
A lone bench facing northwards across the Ottawa River into Quebec.
Benches are often placed along the edge of the Ottawa River, providing an ideal resting place for those in need of a pause, or simply those wishing to sit and reflect. While benches are frequent, other amenities that increase walkability and active living (in the urban environment) are less frequent, for example, shade trees, waste containers, water fountains, and safety lighting.

This Christmas cactus is so happy to be sitting in a sunny window that it's decided to burst into bloom again... just in time for Easter.
I have 6 Christmas cacti in the window - all different colours, and all named for the different women who gave them to me. This white one is Diane, named after one of my sisters.
My south facing windows look out on the Chugach Mountain Range. Little by little my beautiful view has been spoiled by the smoke from forest fires. This afternoon I looked out to see the fire sweeping through yet another portion of the mountain range. The winds are whipping in from the southeast - and yet the fire is moving up the mountains to the east. We are several miles from the fire, with the Tazlina River between us and the flames. All we can do is hope for rain - until then our lungs and sinuses are really suffering.
