My friend Linda Lovelace is right.....Daisy makes the cutest facial expressions. Though perhaps it is wasted in this case...Who the heck is gonna be looking at her face?? 😘
(taken for Smile On Saturday "smiley in selective colour" theme)
[edit: I misread the theme rules, was graciously invited to the Make me smile! :-) group instead]
You have to form a ring with your lips and put the center of the device between your lips. Then you bob your head up-and-down for 30 seconds, twice a day.
I guess I will have a flabby chin instead. 😜
Gillie and Marc Schattner are a British and Australian collaborative artist couple. Gillie and Marc are known for their animal, human-animal hybrid and abstract sculptures, which have been exhibited as public works of art around the world.
'Go Wildlife Go', currently standing on Paternoster Square, near St Paul's Cathedral, until February 2026, represents an elephant, a giraffe, a lion, a koala and numerous other wild animals cast in bronze, scooting their way through the city.
Presumably they've an important meeting to get to somewhere in the concrete jungle.
But the untamed tableaux carries a serious message. The African elephant is threatened by poaching. The Masai giraffe is endangered due to habitat loss. Fewer than 3,000 individual Grevy's zebras remain. There are only two female northern white rhinos left in the world.
"This sculpture is not just an artwork," say Gillie and Marc, "it's a movement. We want people to experience the thrill of the ride, but also to understand the importance of coming together for a common cause. By riding side-by-side with these endangered creatures, we hope to inspire action and remind everyone that we are all part of the same ecosystem.
"The ride may be fun, but the stakes are real."
