Faceup I did for my gf's Ringdoll K. She wanted him to look tired, but not too angry.
I really like this mold and especially his nose!
These are both artist sculpts made by FreakStyleBJD, with whom I had the honour of working.
They are both tan skinned BJDs, one is dark and the other a bit lighter than NS.
I inspected her faceup and noticed that it has two scratches. The first one is tiny uneven line (about 1mm length) next to the left eyebrow, nearly invisible in the photo. It is only visible under certain angle. The second one has a round shape and is and is between the eyebrow and eye. I am not sure if it is a scratch or just a drop of sealant or glue. It shines in the certain angle (like in the photo), and in the different angle it looks darker than the space around it.
The doll came without face protector, just with a plastic bag on her head, so it is likely that the faceup was damaged during shipping
I am not sure what should I do :(
First faceup for my lovely J (Drayton)! I'll need to redo one day for the eyebrows which was a tad misaligned. OTL

This was a funny mold to face-up, and also a bit difficult because of her mouth shape.
She has something like an Asian look if you look at the way her eyes turned out. It must be their shape. She would look great as an Asian girl with black pigtails as well no doubt, haha
I'm not too pleased with his eyebrows but it was fun to work on a bigger head and on white skin.
He could do with a bit bolder contouring and maybe different colors (something besides brown :D).
I'll wipe him and do his face over before I get his body. And no eyes because the 12mm eyecos are too big for him- I'll order 10mms later.
Can't wait for the body so he'll stay upright with no aides.
I redid QayDi and Beth’s faceups on Satuday evening. I gave QayDi a softer and younger look. I had overdone her eyemakeup and lips. Now she doesn’t look like Mary Kay attacked her. Lol
I am FINALLY happy with Beth’s faceup again! The only problem was that I damaged her eyelashes when I removed them so I need to replace them. Beth is my only girl that HAS to have eyelashes otherwise her eyes don’t have that completely soft look that gives Beth her special look. I always have problems with eyelashes so I am glad I only have to do it for Beth.

Done with Acrylic paints, sealed with Mr Super Clear spray and finished with a light gloss on lips and eyes.

That's right, Thorn has a new faceup! I never really cared much for his old one, so I decided to send him to the amazing Resin Junky for a makeover, and I can't praise the result enough! It preserves everything I liked about the old faceup while having so much more finesse and personality. Now Thorn looks exactly like he's meant to - a deadly assassin, but hiding a vulnerable side deep within.
