Open Eyed Optional Narae face-up
She is such a gorgeous mold, and doing a face-up on french resin was just love <3
It's so much smoother in some ways, it looks softer. So cool ^^
She has a bit of smokey eyes ans cherry lips
This was a funny mold to face-up, and also a bit difficult because of her mouth shape.
She has something like an Asian look if you look at the way her eyes turned out. It must be their shape. She would look great as an Asian girl with black pigtails as well no doubt, haha
New faceup! OwO His other one was ollldd and I play with him hard. (Very hard.) He was super dirty and gross too oh my god no matter how many baths I gave this stupid boy! Thankfully Leilah worked her magic and not only is he clean (to the point that that failed and removed bodyblushing given five years ago! is completely gone from his toes and fingers.) but his new faceup is amazingly soft and glittery looking while still letting him be sassy and smirky and just akjdfds.
Cruz my love! Why do I spoil you so?
(Also, he's all dressed up for Sakura-con! Seattle, we come to invade with pinky-cuteness soon!)
Little experiment. I don't really like her with those dark shadows around the eyes. She looks too grown-up for her age that she has in my head.
Yet another faceup done. This time a Gluino for a friend. He is a white tiger/wolf hybrid of sorts. Tried to stay minimal with the striping to avoid getting too cluttered. Enjoyed painting him, and really like the Gluino Vamp. mold!
I just finished! It's Maaike's little Coco, Hazel :)
I have been wanting to do a faceup on a Lati Yellow for the longest time, and here she is! Yay!
What do you think?
(the lighting is a bit odd because it's night time)
Not the best photo. I find it hard to capture him not being all yellow, because he is not totally yellow haha.
It's also a airbrushed face-up I did.
They eyes are not perfect, but I hand't had bigger ones for him to try
I did a face-up for a Limho Mono. Love the mold, it's quite different then most of the male molds. More manly perhaps?
Anyway, I tried to take good pics of him, but it was kinda hard. Somehow I fail taking sharp pics lately. It annoys me :P
Did her faceup yesterday! I find it more fun to photograph her now when she's painted. This is not really what i planed for her in the first place, but It's fine for now :D
1st face-up reference for Esther ♥
Eye mech is not in place properly yet, I just wanted to show the chips with the face plate :)
Dreamingdoll Ami
She is sold at Crobidoll.
It's a rather pretty face. A bit dreamy, but with a somewhat different face-up she can be incredibly bitchy as well hihi.
But I wanted to give her a soft lok with this face-up. She is for sale soon.
Though honestly, if I were smart, I wouldn't be working today because it's raining. Harhar. it's been stupidly hot and dry here all week and then today I woke up and it was raining. Oh well. I don't use MSC anymore and the stuff I do use seems to be doing ok.
So after an identity crisis that involved a DoA sales thread, I decided to keep Egon and rework him into my original character Pelsan. A very kind Doa member inspired me to keep trying with him and then WD's tan elf event gave me the oomph I needed to try again. So now instead of selling Egon, I have two other tan elves on layaway. Haaaaa.
The actual art of doing faceups continues to be terrible. :) Eyebrows are the worst. My currently plan of attack is to get one eyebrow perfect, seal it, and then spend the next three hours swearing while I try to match the second eyebrow. As you can see, I'm not doing so well. Oh well, I'll keep at it. I'm also considering conquering my fear of acrylics and using them on this attempt, but we'll see how I feel once the pastel work is done.
