Faceup for my MNF Karsh

Practice makes perfect right? Now that I've gotten a few more faceups under my belt (and now that I have a better grip on the direction I want to go with this girl's character) I want to give this one a second try... but here is the first version.

Here it is :) I messed up with the recording a bit now that I changed around the furniture in my room. I still need to find the perfect spot where to put my camera while working. I hope it can still be useful though.

I'd try some green on her. She will bee my little fairy, Tinker Bell girl. Now she needs some sweet looking clothes :D

She is a bit like one Ante that I did a little while back. Especially because I used the same colour wig and the same coat for the photos haha.

But I used different colours for lips and blush. And her eyebrows are somewhat different in shape as well. But the overall look remains the same :P

Anyway, she was fun to work on again, even though it feels like repeating when you get the same instructions for the same sculpts ;)

But she remains as cute as a button, haha.

Now, come on, who does not love a Mirwen? <3 Truthfully one of my favourite sculpts of all time. Love painting them every time and this one was no exception. :)

Finally I find time to do a faceup on Mirabell. I think she will match Millimina quite good.

Yup, redid her again. LOL I think this is the 4th one? The way I originally did her eyebrows bugged me, but this is much better. This is the last of the personal ones for a while as I am working on a couple of commissions now.

I think I'm going to redo it though, it's lighter in person and you can't really see her freckles. Plus, her lashes are really dark here and they aren't this bold in person. But not too bad for my first attempt at a bjd faceup.

against my will, i've become obsessed with this faceup.

it was, apparently, the stock faceup for the hujoo mujoo doll (say that 5 times fast)

anyway, mujoo is out of stock and i cannot get a reply from the hujoo people on whether or not she'll ever be back in stock... they ignore me.

i thought of asking them to do a hujoo for me with this faceup... but, i have a strong feeling that my desires will get lost in translation...

so, i'm wondering if anyone out there would be up for doing this faceup on a blank normal skinned hujoo

i'd be happy to pay for the faceup to be done :)

or, if anyone happens to HAVE a mujoo like this hanging around, needing a new home, that works too!
