A Black-faced Woodswallow (Artamus cinereus) seen in a pine plantation on the outskirts of Perth, Western Australia.
week 7/52
This week I've been really focused on my singing practise and I can definitely hear myself improving, which makes me so happy. I'm buying a ukulele on the weekend and I'm determined to teach myself, so that I can at least have some accompaniment whenever I sing to amuse myself/others. Anyways, my singing teacher told me to look in the mirror when I sing and watch what my mouth/face/tongue do. Anyone else ever noticed that, like crying, when people sing they get ugly? I prefer to shut my eyes.
Stripes the tabby cat will often look up at you with her face full of love. Very compassionate little soul.
This child for the first time I saw him in the arms of his father and my camera I call a lot of attention and here the result, a picture of it.
This was on the sidewalk in front of my house when I got home tonight. I had to take a picture of it.
Face to face
My lovely foe
Mouth to mouth
Raining heaven’s blows
Hand on heart
Tic tac toe
Under the stars
Naked as we flow
Cheek to cheek
The bitter sweet
Commit your crime in your deadly time
Commit your crime in your deadly time
It’s too divine
I want to bend
I want this bliss but something says I must
resist
Another life
Another time
We’re siamese twins writhing intertwined
Face to face
No telling lies
The masks they slide to reveal a new disguise
You never can win
It’s the state I’m in
This danger thrills and my conflict kills
They say follow your heart
Follow it through
But how can you
When you’re split in two?
And you’ll never know
You’ll never know
One more kiss
Before we die
Face to face
And dream of flying
Who are you?
Who am i?
Wind in wings
Two angels falling
To die like this
With a last kiss
It’s falsehood’s flame
It’s a crying shame
Face to face
The passions breathe
I hate to stay but then I hate to leave
And you’ll never know
You’ll never know...
I embroidered the house face couple when I visited my friend Alycia. It was nice being with someone that crafts as well. It's a little depressing doing it alone. I'm not too happy with how the eyes turned out. I guess I'll have to make them more even/alike/symmetrical. However, it DID turn out and I like it.!

A silver face in the British Museum in London. I have no idea where it comes from - but I would guess Polynesia. I should really go and find out... if I do, I'll update this comment.
