Today the conditions were very difficult for taking a good landscape picture. I had to use unusual parameters, that I would not normally use. Wide aperture, high iso, fast exposure. Because in every 2 seconds waves splashed over my head. There was no way to use my tripod. I had my back to the sea, protecting my camera and in between the waves I tried to snap some pictures as quickly as possible. The filters needed to be wiped after each wave. 15 minutes later my clothes were soaking wet and I had to get back to my car. But the exciting and interesting foreground forced me to try these desperate measures.

In April we spend a few days in Boulder, Colorado. One day I drove into the mountains and followed a dirt road for quite some time, mainly through forest. I stopped at a turn shortly after sunset to take this shot.
Does anybody recognize the title?
I processed a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, and played with the color balance to give the scene an eerie look.

It's been a while I've been on here... again. Wishing y'all a belated Happy New Year 2017!
I've been out and about shooting, but mostly only put the shots on my personal Facebook page, some on my public FB page and on Instagram. OK, IG I use mostly for my iPhone shots taken on the way to work.
Anyhow... here's a shot from Saturday morning taken at Coral Cove Park. Surf was up, well the tide was incoming. High tide was about 2 hours out, but with a rather stiff breeze from the east the waves were really crashing over the rocks and I had a hard time keeping both, my feet and the lens, dry. I had more success with my feet than with the lens.

I was roaming around at the Forum Shops at Caesars, an upscale mall in the Caesar Palace casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The mall is modeled after the old Rome at the time of Caesar, and has a fake sky. I was more interested in hunting around with my camera than shopping.
I processed a balanced, a soft, and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, merged them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, then desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive feedback.

Nice thunderstorm yesterday, on 17.07.2015 in Frankfurt am Main (Hessen).
Unfortunately most of the lightnings happened in the cloud and were not visible. But still I was able to get some cool shots.

Leider gab es nur wenige sichtbare Blitze, da die meisten Entladungen in der Wolke stattfanden. Aus diesem Grund beschränkt sich die "Ausbeute" auf ein paar hübsche Blitze.

This is a shot from the very famous Mecca Masjid from my home town Hyderabad.
I have a similar image in my stream but I have processed this one differently and gave it a different treatment altogether. Even the crop is quite different. I still can't make up my mind as to which one I like better but here goes.
Tomorrow, my experiments continue and I plan to post something that I have been thinking of in my head for a while.

today I finally are able to do some test shooting underwater at last! it was a great experience, my cousin is always available for new shots, we had fun even though there was a bit of wind that bothered
Shot yesterday, in a live class of my portrait workshop here in Buenos Aires. At the Simik bar/photographic museum. Everything that shines behind is metal and glass from all cameras.

If someone, one day, had told me, that my first photo of the Milky Way would been taken in a place like this one, I would never trusted him. However in a warm summer night, around midnight, I found myself seated in the red sand of the desert in the Navajo reservation, at the foot of the most world famous rock monuments. Just the time to screw in my fisheye lens, crank up the ISO, set the focus, and I was shooting one of the most wonderful scenarios I've ever seen. it is difficult to describe the emotion of the moment, but I can swear, it was absolutely overwhelming.
On a drive across somewhere North York. I thought I'd ICM this one as well :) Even with some long exposure, just a slight tap got the job done :)
Hey have you guys noticed the amount of 'contact fishers' lately? I mean these accounts rack up 10-100,000 contacts and they'll likely won't ever show any interest or interact with you. I don't know, I just find it odd to create an account just to rack up views.

-This is my freestyle photo to kick off the project 104. My themed photo of "New Begginings" Will be up sometime tomorrow once i complete the edit! Im keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out fairly descent.
Well this photo was taken in a Chive field, I got well over 20 mosqito bites while taking pictures here, but it was definitely worth it. Ive never been so excited to get home and take a shower before haha. The wonderful sedona is gorgeous as always and i finally go tot snap a few pics of her, and had a blast! Zak and I Went out and took photos from 1-9 today, and i have so many photos im excited to share with all you! So i think i might be starting ANOTHER blog but this time actually keeping up with it so you can see other outtakes of various different shoots i will be doing this whole year while trying to keep up with the project.

These bird images are all taken at the bird sanctuary at Bharatpur at the 'Keoladeo National Park' or 'Keoladeo Ghana National Park'. The sanctuary that plays host to thousands of birds especially during the winter season. Over 230 species of birds are known to have made the National Park their home. It is also a major tourist centre with scores of ornithologists arriving here in the hibernal season. It was declared a protected sanctuary in 1971. It is also a declared World Heritage Site.
Keoladeo Ghana National Park is a man-made and man-managed wetland and one of the national parks of India. The reserve protects Bharatpur from frequent floods, provides grazing grounds for village cattle and earlier was primarily used as a waterfowl hunting ground. The 29 km2 (11 sq mi) reserve is locally known as Ghana, and is a mosaic of dry grasslands, woodlands, woodland swamps, and wetlands. These diverse habitats are home to 366 bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species, 7 turtle species, and a variety of other invertebrates. Every year thousands of migratory waterfowl visit the park for wintering breeding etc. The Sanctuary is one of the richest bird areas in the world. It is known for nesting of its resident birds and visiting migratory birds including water birds. The rare Siberian cranes used to winter in this park but this central population of Siberian cranes is now extinct. According to founder of the World Wildlife Fund Peter Scott, Keoladeo Sanctuary is one of the world’s best bird areas.
