In the smoldering ash's of last nights fire.
Comes the image of this surreal Firefly.
Its eyes looking wild and its situation dire.
Wings back, as if in flight for the sky.
In the smoldering ash's of the fire.
Fire pit in the morning after, ash's of un-burned logs.
The trees wet with morning dew,
Let us see what is not new.
Faces peek at us from the bark,
things we can not see in the dark.
Its red eyes stare at us for a few,
looking for those who are not true.
Projecting there faces into the bark,
trying eerily to hit their mark.
The creepy, silent night time crew,
Has found the devils due.
If you have seen them?, Hark I say, hark,
Then run you should, as fast as a spark.
Molten metal staring
at us from the shiny
metal form.
Grinning, menacingly
for those who can see.
It started out as a
simple experiment,
an idea storm.
Tin and sunlight inverted
just to see what would be.
Out of the shadows
created by light,
an image,
came forth
not of the
norm.
A little tin man
we now
can see
with blue eyes
that look
forlorn.
"Stargate KS" In photography its healthy to express your creative vision, actually it's encouraged. I saw a vision for the "Rock Formation" photo I uploaded earlier in the week and wanted to do a composite ... it just called to me. I darkened the sky and added a photo of the moon I took earlier this year. I didn't want to "overdo" the moon but I didn't want it so small the vision got lost. Nature, time, mystery ...... the world and the universe collide with the human mind and wonder. I hope this image greets your eye well :)
