Dublin Bus Airlink Volvo VG 50 without the branding on a 747 express service to Dublin Airport.

The tree in my back yard

on dark and stormy days

Becomes a life like creature

that peers out all gloomy and grey.

The water drips down

the thick recesses of the bark,

in well sought out paths,

eerily calling forth the beings

from within the tree.

Water, life giving water

falling from the sky

awakens my senses

and opens my eyes

to see.

The living souls all around us

the ones we do not see.

Other dimensions and places in time.

Uniquely linked and networked

in worlds unknown.

What we think we see,

we do not know

and what we think we know,

we do not see,

for blind are we to other lives

seeing not but our own.

Under the snow

not under a bridge.

Is where this troll

of the snow dose live.

Many have tried to

play in the snow.

Only to return with

cold noses and toes.

Always seeking

refuge that a warm

home can give.

Be careful when

you venture out,

that your trip is

quick

Remember, under the

snow, is where the

snow troll dose live.

When a building is alive,

every corner can see you.

Following your every step

from the inner halls to your

car too.

Walking faster will not save you.

Be polite, do not write on the walls,

throw away your trash too.

These are just a few things

I would remember to do.

Least the building sees you

Heirlooms,

lost,

in another

time and place.

Destined,

to take up,

someone

else's space.

Understanding,

sentiment and family

lines have,

with these items,

been traced.

Emotions,

flowing from

everyone's face.

A death,

often comes with,

the throwing away

of a family's grace.

Created by photographing Grandma's Heirloom jewelry and Dad's hunting string, on a red pillow, mirrored for the view and given a slight detail filter.

A moment captured between whispers and silence. When I created this artwork, I felt the quiet space where thoughts dissolve into emotions. Charcoal and ink on paper, 25x33 cm. Learn more: ilariaberenice.com/en/abstract-faces/reflections-of-silence/

This is mirrored only view of the bottle with water and flashlights I used to create the More than we can see art piece.

Here is the poetic description for the picture.

Lost in the frame

are the pieces

of the mind,

far more than

what you see.

First glance brings

the sudden face,

that smiles

back with glee.

Second glance sees,

the Jesus figure

with arms outstretched

for you and me.

Then comes

two ferry men,

floating on

rushing water.

seeking those

who will pay

their fee..

Last but not least

the dragons face

looking down

at the baby dragon

smiling back at me.

Earth Angels,

Fallen,

Hidden

among us.

We can not see,

the watchful

presence

of this

seemingly

peaceful

being.
