We cannot assume that the body language of other animals is the same as ours, but sometimes, I imagine what they're feeling.

Little X-Mas and New Year's presents from me to me, to celebrate the ending of THAT year and to enter into new one with light heart and smile on my face :) Well, isn't Special Expressions Barbie a perfect for celebration with her box slogan: "Gorgeous at night in silver and white". Add a whimsical box art photo on the back captioned "City lights... city nights!" and voila, let's celebrate ;) And the Toy Story 4 Barbie is just so darn cute - what a lovely surprise to get a current doll with my beloved Superstar sculpt! :)

I was doing a photoshoot with my dog here, Wolfie. She was a rather impatient customer. She never looked at the camera for me, except for this one time. But she didn't smile or anything, she planted this really sour look on her face and closed her eyes. I thought this was going to be an out-take from this particular photoshoot, but upon looking it on the computer, I realized how it actually was pretty awesome and expressive.

As I sat waiting , watching the people around me and taking a few shots. I was checking the light and took a few of these two. I got lucky when the girl happened to get something right and her expression changed.

I told him to give me an angry expression. I like the fact that although he is trying to look angry yet there is a smile lurking behind that expression, which he is not able to hide.
That old chestnut about an image being worth a thousand words seems to me to be true of this image, more so than most of the photographs I take: the expressions on these faces totally encapsulate the story of the night. Although this story is obviously unknown to the viewer, I hope this image will spark her imagination.
