Intimate black and white portrait of Susana with a serene expression

A gust of wind catches a lone tree.

Don't you love this baby's expression? What are you doing to me you crazy lady?

This interesting looking display sits in front of one of Montreal's taller buildings in the downtown area. It shows several people's expressions as the man in front points across to the street to the other building.

A field of fully-opened zinnias must be the finest expression of a southern summer. A close second would be eating a tomato sandwich. here's how to do it: Get a big, ripe tomato out of your own garden, gently pulling it off the vine. (Tomato sandwiches are best made with tomatoes harvested while warmed from the afternoon sun, so keep that in mind.) Avoid disturbing whatever assassin bugs, bumblebees, ladybugs and butterflies might be hanging around. Take your tomato into the kitchen, and slice it into cross-sections. Take 2 piece of white bread (NOT wheat, etc.). Smear BOTH pieces of bread with a generous amount of real mayonnaise...not that "lite" stuff. Adorn one slice of the bread with 2 or three pieces of tomato. Top the tomato with 4-5 BIG potato chips, straight out of the bag; it doesn't much matter if crinkle-cut, etc. Put the other slice of bread on top. Take the sandwich into BOTH hands, and leaning over the sink, eat it slowly.

As I get older I hate the hot humid Midwestern summers all the more, but I do love watching the kids play ball!

Still working on the hitting mechanics, but the expressions on the kids faces are priceless--dig the catcher shutting his eyes.

I think this captures my essence nicely!

Fyi not an angry/anger expression, but could appear that way. Forget what I was going for, I think more like an expressive "Yeaaaah!".

I like to make contact when shooting people, specially when I manage to make them smile :)

These pictures were taken on the first day of a four day march called "De Vierdaagse" in Nijmegen.

This is almost complete collection of my close portrait project. All of them are taken in the streets with 100mm. It gave me lots of learning. Did lots of mistakes. Learned from that. Met lots of people. Different faces, different expressions and experiences. Most of them are taken in CWC walk. Big thanks to the group.

Now, thinking about some new project. Waiting for new learning.
