The San Juan (Midsummer) fireworks show, orchestrated by the fireworks professionals of Pirotécnia Igual, over the Bahia de Roses.
Whenever I get the chance to shoot fireworks shows, I try to take it, because I like to hone my skills by learning from past mistakes.
Because of this, I've become quite adept at taking fireworks pictures.
I usually bring a sturdy tripod and a cable release for bulb photography.
Shot during my holiday in Rosas, Spain.
And here's the same plant "explosion" featured in the earlier uploaded image...
This happens when the Photoshop Elements software program applies a "glowing edges" filter to the image...
I'm not sure which one I find more visually appealing....

From a series of top 10 movie explosions. This composition was made with custom software that captures the color and form of explosions in action films. The source of this composition was Independence Day by director Roland Emmerich.

so i took my other shot out of hbw pool. i didn't like it that much, and it wasn't worth one of my two shots. we were out walking the dogs today and came across this awesome front yard full of a lush bed of flowers- looked like someone had dumped a bunch of mixed flowers destined to bloom at once. it was just amazing. i took a bunch of shots with the 50, my favorites (of course) were blurry.
¿Nunca les pareció oir una canción que los conmovía tanto que podían sentir muchas cosas indescriptibles, como colores fluyendo dentro de uno y alrededor? o identificarla con un color, una imagen...
o ¿nunca quisieron, al escuchar esa canción que les trastornó la cabeza de una vez y para siempre, transformarse en música? ser la música, ser todas y cada una de las notas y viajar por el aire, invisible, intangible, eterna...
Nada más alejado que esta imagen para intentar describir todo eso que dije. Pero mi delirante hermano mayor compróse una guitarra rosa, y yo tenía una remera floreada. Debía hacer algo :P
Los estorninos son un azote para los cultivos, como un plaga. Pero estas explosiones de vida, estas sinfonías de movimiento son todo un espectáculo para el observador.
