This bokeh was caused by sparkling light created by sunlight and moving water on Kerr Lake which was the backdrop in this photo. The sun apparently was at the perfect angle, within minutes this shimmering light was gone.
Taken with a manual focus Takumar 200mm f/3.5 vintage lens.

I don't really care for this shot anymore. Sure the knife and dof is cool and all but I would have done alot differently today. Strangely it made explore some time back...

with my camera buddy, playing cameras, visiting the seals at Horsey Gap, amongst other things. We were lucky at Horsey, the tide was high meaning that the seals which are hauled up on the beach at the moment for their annual moult were quite close, and easy to find - all taken with a long lens and cropped off.
It was absolutely FREEZING on the beach, but beautifully sunny.
Many thanks for all the faves, Explore and comments!
