On my way up for my 2nd skydive. Did it at one of the most scenic spots in the world Fox Glacier, New Zealand. It is so scenic because of the Southern Alps mountain range, including Mount Cook or Aoraki the highest peak in NZ, a rainforest below, Fox Glacier and then the ocean and coastline. It was truly a breathtaking experience.

My favorite hike trail, also the most challenging hike on my Rocky Mountain trip. It's a 20km one way in, one way out hike that encompasses almost 1000m of elevation gain. The last 2km is a scramble up the peak. If you want to find the secrets on the summits, here you are 😊
The video shows scrambling ...

Kolugljúfur Canyon is a stunning natural wonder located in the western part of Iceland. It is situated in the Víðidalur Valley, near the town of Hvammstangi. The canyon is carved by the Víðidalsá River, which flows through the rugged landscape, creating a picturesque gorge.
One of the highlights of Kolugljúfur Canyon is the Kolufossar Waterfall, which cascades down the cliffs into the river below. The waterfall is a popular spot for photographers and nature enthusiasts, as its powerful flow and picturesque setting make for stunning photographs.
As the sun begins to set, the cliffs of the canyon are illuminated, casting long shadows and creating a dramatic contrast against the deep blue sky. The colors of the surrounding landscape intensify, with the greens of the vegetation becoming more vibrant and the river reflecting the warm hues of the setting sun.
In summer at Iceland, sunset was about 11pm-12am, sunrise was about 1-2am, the night was too short. Always took sunset photos, then waiting for sunrise... Only 2-3 hours night (not really dark night) during summer time.

The "Shard" at night.
There's hardly any location in London right now, where you can't spot the "Shard" in the horizon!

The facade sculpture “Venus crest” is by sculptor Hubert Minnebo.
It is 11 meters high. The fish represents the sea, the woman represents the earth and the bird represents the sky. The fourth primal element, fire, is missing here figuratively, but is reflected in the material of the artwork, copper, which is born of fire and also symbolizes the sun. It was installed in 2003.
Took a different hike this weekend. Steep. Nice views. Maybe again. Maybe not. Liked the color and texture contrasts of this setting, so here you have a mediocre shot of an interesting landscape with a beloved dog :-)
Big white fluffy clouds slowly transitting across the horizon earlier today. Taken from Islandhill with Scrabo Tower in the distance :)
