The rose has an abundance of fully double blooms open to large cups in a very attractive apricot colour. With upright growth this ADR winner has the hightest disease resistance in its colour range. Multiple international gold and silver medals makes this a must have.

A rose is a woody perennial flowering plant of the genus Rosa, in the family Rosaceae. There are over three hundred species and thousands of cultivars. They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing, or trailing, with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. Most species are native to Asia, with smaller numbers native to Europe, North America, and northwestern Africa. Species, cultivars and hybrids are all widely grown for their beauty and often are fragrant. Roses have acquired cultural significance in many societies. Rose plants range in size from compact, miniature roses, to climbers that can reach seven meters in height. Different species hybridize easily, and this has been used in the development of the wide range of garden roses. 53319

Come quando eri bambino ... Ieri ti ho letto un libro, son "Favole" diverse, ma è bello lo stesso...Tu che mi guardi con occhi sgranati....

Abstract autumn landscape

This was taken with a 30 image stack, a lot for this lens but it worked as the background was distant!

In these current times, it's difficult to know when images have been manipulated with AI so if there's a ?, I'll post as I 'never' use AI.

Thanks for your views and comments, as always!!

Done in the almost pitch dark, by using long exposure, remote switch on camera and torchlight - more precisely waving a torch around and about and up and down until enough seconds seemed ok! (11 secs here). Good fun.

The sun rises behind the houses on the seafront, the sky's lovely colours reflected by the wet sand, bringing out the lines and curves from the receding waves.

Ballyholme is on the edge of Bangor and a handy quick sunrise photo stop before work in the winter months.

This is my favourite of the three shots from that morning.

Today was my first try with rounded corners (thanks isayx3!), plus, my first flower shot in a while!! I found that when you try to put text in a corner when they are rounded that it doesn't look good! Hence the centered text;)

Also, our family is going again to the lake today!! Hopefully I can master wakeboarding, haha

Last but not least, hope all you canadians have an amazing Canada Day!!:D

This was our second attempt at capturing the bridge at sunset. Again the few clouds around cleared just before sunset so we stayed for blue hour. A beautiful purple light developed and was reflected in the water. Happy Friday…Kris..
