The best thing about unplanned trip is that you don't have to follow any schedule. You can pretty go anywhere and anytime you want. Surprisingly the weather this afternoon was pretty good.
I decided to just drive to West Vancouver to hike around. My first stop was Whytecliff Park. There were quite a lot of people swimming and scuba diving there. My girlfriend and I just spent an hour there since the park is pretty small. Our next stop was the Lighthouse Park. It is quite similar to Stanley Park where there are many trails for hikers to challenge. Since we didn't prepare anything so we just took the easy trail and walked towards the famous lighthouse.
There were few spots where you can take photos of the lighthouse and I think the best spot is the one near the beach. :)

Here's my take on the super blood moon eclipse as shot from a little cover in the Uplands. I had intended to shoot from Cattle Point, but about 3000 others had the same thought. Nothing personal but I didn't fancy jockeying for a spot to shoot.

"Autumn arrives, array'd in splendid mein;
Vines, cluster'd full, add to the beauteous scene,
And fruit-trees cloth'd profusely laden, nod,
Complaint bowing to the fertile sod."

Sick sunset from my gym's rooftop, this evening. At first I just wanted to look at it. Then I ran to get my camera.

We went on a wonderful Camping vacation this weekend and I had to grab a capture of the beautiful sunset over the Lake.
I wish there was a little more action happening in the sky, But all in all I was loving the photo.
I wanted the reflection in the water as it was beautiful in real time. The sunset was beautiful with all its vibrant colours and I tried my best to capture that.
As always, Thanks for viewing and comments are welcome.

City workers stand at the base of Gastown's famous Steam Clock. It recently received a full restoration and was returned to it's spot on Water & Cambie Street this week.
"Be present. Make love. Make tea. Avoid small talk. Embrace conversation. Buy a plant, water it. Make your bed. Make someone else’s bed. Have a smart mouth, and quick wit. Run. Make art. Create. Swim in the ocean. Swim in the rain. Take chances. Ask questions. Make mistakes. Learn. Know your worth. Love fiercely. Forgive quickly. Let go of what doesn’t make you happy. Grow."
