What do you think about this waterfall?
Here are the facts - It was taken during hot mid-day. The waterfall is one-foot drop on a slab behind barrage at Vasona lake. No filters was used in photographing this.
It continues to amaze me that a picture can distort the truth so much without even heavy editing.

Opposite the "dark corner" (picture in the first comment below), the "bright" corner of my yard has full sun. There is a continuous show of perennial flowers from early Spring to late summer. Bright yellow lilies start off, followed by yellow sedum. As they fade, the purple phlox emerge and stay all summer, and the yellow Black Eyed Susan join shortly after. A row of tall Helianthus in back will emerge in late summer.
The best part is that they are all perennials (no planting needed) : )

Pharaoh stops and stares to see if his childish antics still get my attention and admiration. It does. How could it not? His showing off running kicking up dirt then abruptly stopping to stare at me is our game. He smiles ever so slightly then runs off again taking coy peaks at me. Smart and strong of spirit he has over come some emotional and physical pain of a previous adoption gone wrong. Back in the herd of his gypsy family and loving mom he is his happy and content.
