Is it weekend already? I don’t think that I had a longer week in a while but moments like this give me a bit of peace. It’s always relaxing when working on images. This is another frozen frame from the few weeks ago shot as vertical pano. What do you think?

As the Sun sinks ever so fast the clouds start to show off their real beauty, with awesome colors and unusual shapes. Nature's beauty sure has a way of opening one's mind in the way of life. Hope you all enjoy this display of Nature. Lol.

Taken in Raw through a tree where this small beam of light was just crossing over the Ladybird, again a two image process in raw one for the ladybird to reduce highlights that were over-exposed and the second for the background to recover some detail as under-exposed both due to the camera light meter being totally confused and not reading the light properly, if I had taken in Jpeg believe the image would have been a right-off, slowly getting the hang of it I think. Shall have to invest in some sort of macro lighting, time to start saving. Aidy BEST VIEWED LARGE

ow do you plant asparagus? Farmers plant asparagus crowns, a stem attached to a long string of roots, which are planted about 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) under the ground. The asparagus is left to grow for a year and harvested the following year. During the first harvest, farmers have a two week harvest period.

On this Waterfall Wednesday I bring you my shot of Abiqua Falls in Oregon. This was a miserable hike for someone who likes flat hikes. The ropes we had to repel were wet and hard to hold on to. I made it and after I stopped swearing I managed to look around and realize where I was... What an epic location.. Kris...
Looking south towards the Quiraing and beyond, the landscape of Skye simply stuns, with geology reshaping this landscape into its present twisted form from distant ancient history.
This was our second attempt at capturing the bridge at sunset. Again the few clouds around cleared just before sunset so we stayed for blue hour. A beautiful purple light developed and was reflected in the water. Happy Friday…Kris..
