Just bought a Hoya R72 Infrared filter and started experimenting. This shot of my 'shady' fern and hosta border taken at f/2.8 to avoid 'hot spot' found with smaller apertures. Red and blue channels swapped in Photoshop to give the sky a slightly more natural appearance.
Connectivity and readymade practice : experimenting, manipulating and combining daily life objects in order to attempt, to force or to mystify a workable connection between them, at least to make it visible and/or possible. This exercise is to be considered as a warm-up, a first step towards a further installation or project.

Experiment – Give a 4 year old and a 5 year old a sheet of stickers (thanks moo.com) and tell them they could stick them on anything they could see at that moment. This is what they came up with.
What does this tell us? Gemma lives in the moment. Alex lives for his bike.
I've been experimenting with some new software from Olympus. I applied various filters (brightness, contrast, saturation) to the previous washed-out shot and this is the result.
The colours are not exactly natural. They remind me of those you find in some Victorian landscape paintings.
By the way, it's the Old Man of Hoy, photographed from the Stromness ferry.

They're experimenting on houseplants in the Faculty of Science. The Little Shop of Horrors in reverse. This was close in on the surface of a test tank containing sansevieria trifasciata, aka mother-in-law's tongue.
