My lovely friend Julia Hardenburger was gracious enough to pose for a couple hours of rather experimental (for me) portraits. I lit her with a pair speedlights gelled with her favorite colors: red and violet.

this project escorts letters from its 3d spreads to a structure to experiment the relations between the two, useing photography.
Experimental zooming during exposure. The series is of the same flower cluster of a single geranium with the tripod mounted camera kept in exactly the same position. The only movement was zooming in and out. Shutter times varied between 2.1 sec and 9.5sec and apertures between f/4.5 and f/20.
