The Costa Rica Center held an activity on October 28th, 2011 to teach students about Indian culture. Here, the presenter shows students what a churidar looks like. The presentation about India was followed by a special Indian lunch. The rafting expedition covered 110 Kms of strenuous paddling down River Alaknanda and Ganges. The expedition lasted for 5 Days /4 Nights covering major Rapids. Rafting started from Srinagar and ended in Shivpuri. Expedition covered activities like White water Rafting, Rescue Procedures, Survival Techniques , Disaster Management,Tent Pitching, Rationing ,Cooking ,Mobile Camping , Clean Ship, Kayaking, Treks, Making Camp fires.
