The rafting expedition covered 110 Kms of strenuous paddling down River Alaknanda and Ganges. The expedition lasted for 5 Days /4 Nights covering major Rapids. Rafting started from Srinagar and ended in Shivpuri. Expedition covered activities like White water Rafting, Rescue Procedures, Survival Techniques , Disaster Management,Tent Pitching, Rationing ,Cooking ,Mobile Camping , Clean Ship, Kayaking, Treks, Making Camp fires.

During their field trip to Panama, freshman students participated in a parade to celebrate Cerro Punta’s 58th anniversary. They carried posters they made themselves with messages encouraging environmental protection.

The University of Kansas Medical Center opened its new Health Education Building just in time for the 2017-2018 academic year. The new 170,000-foot-facility will become the primary teaching facility for the KU Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Health Professions.
