This was for a 1957 Chris Craft Sports Express (Hull #1) We designed the layout then cut the piece from solid copper.
1957 Colony Park from the Ken McBride Collection. After a concourse restoration, a meticulous match of wood grain was designed and installed. This was a deceptively difficult job.

LIU Global Comparative Religion and Culture Program students had the opportunity to visit the ancient Dara necropolis or “city of the dead.” This ancient burial place dates back to around 600 C.E. It was used for burials from the 5th century continuing to the 14th century.

The Tamaleada is the final big event of the fall semester, in which staff, faculty, students, host families, and members of various Costa Rican communities come together to participate in various musical and artistic performances, and to enjoy the famous Costa Rican tamales.

Maggie Finn '18 and Professor Amanda Falk examine black shale from the Devonian era (419-359 million years ago) for tiny organisms called conodonts. Conodonts are primitive vertebrates and handy for determining the approximate age of local rock strata.
