In my market, the agents expect to see shots of everything, including the hall bath (our MLS allows unlimited photos). I'd been using a pretty standard setup for these shots, stuffing a flash on a stand just inside the doorframe nearest the sink, but I'd been bouncing off the wall more than the ceiling and relying mostly on the flash rather than the ambient. This time, I used the flash at its lowest power (1/16 on the Sunpak) and pointed it straight up at the ceiling. I also relied almost entirely on ambient. That really helped the shot a lot - not only did I get better light, the white balance was weighted more on the ambient and came out just fine.

Oh - if you look at the base of the toilet you'll see a flash that I'd left there from an earlier multi-flash effort that didn't work out. I'd brought two Sunpaks on stands and two SB-80s on feet upstairs; after I finished working on the bathroom I realized that I was missing one of the SBs. I was ready to move on to the next room and didn't know where it was. Thomas happened by and wanted to see my bathroom shot, and he noticed that it was a bit hot at bottom center. "Oh, THAT'S where I left that flash!"

A word of stupid advice - if you're moving on to your next room and can't account for all of your flashes, take a really close look at the last frame you shot!

Okay, I like these a lot more than I first expected. They are clean, contrasty, and sharp. Sure, there's a bit of visible grain, but overall, it adds to the sharpness. The contrast is deep and rich, exactly what I expect from a cinefilm! I think the bit of overexposure and slight pull in development work perfectly, although I could have developed them at the listed nine minutes.

A fairly obscure Jacket commission that I wouldn't expect most of you to fully understand unless you're Welsh and fairly knowledgeable on the mining struggle in the Welsh valleys during the Thatcher period in the 80's. Fun to do...

Tried to play around with a wireless fired flash. Was a bit tricky to blow out the candle and push the trigger at the same time ;) But the result is quite what i expected! :)

Seen in 1958 Daf 600 Variomatic Publicity Brochure.

Original Daf 600 Variomatic sedan publicity brochure, to promote the first passenger car Daf had developed in the 1950s. It had an unique automatic transmission system with stepless acceleration.

The first Daf passenger car was announced in 1957 and officially presented in Febr. 1958.

Production started one year later in 1959.

The Daf 600 was designed by W. van den Brink with technical assistance of Johan van der Brugghen, and was replaced by both the 1961-63 Daf 750 and the 1961-65 Daffodil.

The differences between the standard 600 and the luxe version include the two-tone paint (six colours available), quarterlights in the door windows, hub-caps, chrome strips around the windows and chrome bumpers. In the interior there was more colour upholstery choice.

Publisher: Van Doorne's Automobielfabrieken N.V., Eindhoven, (1958).

A4 size.

With many black & white photos and drawings.

I don't know if this brochure was intended for car dealers and potential buyers. Perhaps it was an internal brochure intended for its own employees. I inherited this brochure from an ex-Daf engineer who was involved in the development of the assembly line for the manufacture of the Daf 600.

This is part of a Petrus sampler pack. For some reason I was expecting something like Duvel or Leffe. This isn't like that at all. Pours darker with an orangish color. The flavor has a slightly citrus-yeasty-woody-sour taste that isn't that bad. No yeast funk at the bottom of the bottle. Good carbonation. OK mouth feel. Probably used the wrong glass but I love the Orval glass. I'd drink it again if I had one, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get another.

Vedder is a 2 year old American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier Mix. He is currently about 40 lbs. and once he is fattened up, we are expecting he’ll be around 50 lbs., so a medium sized dog. He is 19 inches tall floor ot shoulder and will not get any taller.

Vedder's story is a tearjerker: he was found abandoned, left outside with his brother to die. Animal Control found him just in time, his brother was not so lucky.

Despite this cruelty, Vedder's desire for love is undeniable. He loves to go for car rides and chew on rawhide bones. He is in need of some fattening up, but his foster parents are taking good care of that. He loves affection, but understands crate time. He gets along well with his 5 month old bulldog foster brother and engages in lighthearted play.

This sweet boy has an understandable distrust of people right now, but is working so hard to overcome it every day. He has not had any issues with kids and seems fascinated by them when he sees them in public. He is completely crate trained and outside the occasional accident, mostly housebroken. He knows basic commands (sit, paw, down, roll over) and walks well on a leash. He is very food motivated, which has helped his fosters to make major training improvement. In true Pit Bull fashion, he is eager to please his people.

Vedder is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, Heartworm negative and comes with his own 72 hour Disaster Kit.

We're excited to announce that we're expecting our second child! We've known for a couple of weeks. Michelle had a doctor's appointment today to make it "official." The due date is 12/19/2009. Looks like we'll stick close to home for the holidays.

Here was something I hadn't known to expect: when my GPS said to "veer left" to stay onto Weld County Rd 136—as opposed to following the curve of the arterial I was on to turn right onto County Rd 89—I did not know I would be driving onto a road that was unpaved. The paved road turns, and going this direction meant actually going straight; I think Siri says to "veer left" in an attempt to make it clear I was indeed meant to drive off the paved road—although I had to look several times at the moving map on my phone just to make sure I was indeed going where I was supposed to.

Never in my life have I deliberately driven so far into the middle of nowhere, all by myself. But, I was on a mission! I was driving ninety minutes out of my way—literally doubling the drive time I would otherwise have—to Cheyenne, Wyoming, just so I could get all of two miles into Nebraska, and then, well, I could say I've been to Nebraska.

It was a good 15 miles of these packed gravel roads before reaching Panorama Point, my specific Nebraska destination barely across the state line in the southwest corner of the state's fat eastern panhandle, the last road of which was more of a straight-up dirt road, which, although it also had small rocks, was a more comfortable drive for me. The first roads with more gravel on them freaked me out just slightly, as I was in a rather nice, white Kia rental car. I could hear lots of pebbles getting kicked up by my tires and hitting the bottom of the car. I have literally never owned a car of my own, and although I relatively frequently drive Shobhit's car, it's a now-ancient 2004 Nissan Sentra, so I have no real sense of how much of a concern this should be. Still, in the end I drove these last 15 miles at an average of around 40 mph. The noise from the gravel didn't sound any different at that speed than it did at 25 or 30 mph, so I figured, fuck it.

I had driven about twenty miles of these gravel roads before I finally hit another paved road, just over the state line in southeast Wyoming, which was a relief. Smooth sailing after that! I didn't even mind getting stuck behind a John Deere tractor for several minutes. At least the road was paved.

More Android flagship phones with at least 10GB RAM expected to launch this year

More Android flagship phones with at least 10GB of RAM will arrive later this year.

According to DigiTimes, trade sources declare that 10GB RAM will turn out to be the mainstream spec for Android flagship smartphones with a number of gamers placing extra RAM than the others. Besides utilizing RAM as a key differentiator, the combination of AI and a number of digital camera lenses in phones additionally require an improve on the reminiscence.

While specs improve stay a technique for cellphone makers this year, cellular DRAM demand will not be expected to rise considerably till the second half of 2020. When 5G turns into commercialized in 2020, demand will improve when cellphone makers begin to ship fashions with 10 to 12GB of RAM.

Several cellphone makers have both launched or introduced fashions with at least 10GB of RAM. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has 10GB RAM whereas the premium variant of the Xiaomi Mi Mix three will ship with 10GB RAM. Lenovo shall be launching the Z5 Pro GT tomorrow, which is the world’s first cellphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and 12GB RAM.

The birth of the Fool Audio Research, 'Infinite Fuzz' pedal.

Well, that was a little more random than expected.

As you can see, output clustered in the middle for the most part. There were a couple of really low-gain ones...I think there were two that measured 37 and one that measured 34.

There were only two over 100. One was 108 and the other...and I kid you not on this, was 222. I don't even know what to do with that one. I measured it twice, assuming the leads were touching or something and I was getting a false read.

Typically people try to get 70-100 for the first transistor and 90 to 130 for the second. There are obviously going to be a very small number of pedals I can build following that guideline. It seems nutty to get four pedals out of 40 transistors.

Obviously I've already thought about cool things to do with the, "leftover" transistors. Lotta circuits that use lower gain transistors. Sometimes using three of them instead of two.

I've also been thinking of trying a couple of hybrid Fuzz Face designs using a germanium AC128 with a silicon 2N3903. I wonder if that would yield the pleasant germanium tone with the attack of the silicon pedals. Worth trying out, since I have some transistors sitting around to use.

Stella did not expect that. Matt was so sweet, how could that happen? But it was right there in front of her eyes. Matt and Harper, Harper and Matt – in her own bed, no less. They weren’t undressed, but it sure looked like they were getting there. She must have made some noise since they stopped abruptly and looked at her. What was there to say? Stella hurried away ending up in the kitchen. But before she could take a sip from her glass, there they were. Matt was talking a mile a minute about how Harper, well, he pretended not to know her name, came onto him and Stella saw them before he could push her away. But Stella knew what she saw and wouldn’t let him gaslight her.

Suddenly Harper blew up. According to her, she and Matt were together behind Stella’s back for years – even Ashley’s his daughter. And, apparently, he promised to marry her after he got rid of the ‘witch’ his parents wanted him to marry. Matt began to contradict her, but once Stella started to put it all together, she tended to believe the maid. But he just wouldn’t shut up, so Stella’s hand slipped and the water ended up on his face, dripping down his shirt. Harper seemingly liked the idea and grabbed an opened bottle of some cleaning liquid. Stella tried to stop her, but it was too late. The liquid went right into Stella’s face and, God, it burned!
