Okay. Two more to go. If you clicked on this image expecting to hear about life on campus, I'm sorry.

It's true that I shot this image at a university in the UK...but that's not what this portion is about.

This is a detective serial, just coming to a close...which is a good thing because I think only myself and six or seven other people are following it.

But we are a HARDY LOT, huh?

If you're one of the Hardy Lot, the wrap is coming up tomorrow...unless I wait until next month to post it.

Heh heh.

So -- here is #19: Into The Light

*******************

A pair of students were wolfing down a meal as we staggered out of the chapel into the fading sunlight. It looked strange to see something so normal only feet away from where we had just come from. Had it been only a few minutes ago we’d been fleeing some clawed creature in the dark?

“I have a ride,” I told Gerald. “Greta sent him.”

He stopped and looked at me, suspicion painted stark on his sharp features. “Greta did?”

I nodded. “She sent him to pick me up at the ship.”

“How do you know?”

“When I got off the ship, he was there with my name on a placard.”

“And?”

I was offended. I was sore and my ankle was bleeding profusely from where the minion had clawed at it.

“And what?” I demanded, dismayed to hear the slight whine in my voice.

“Greta didn’t send him,” Gerald said.

“Yes she did,” I insisted. But the look in his eyes and the sense of my heart were sinking the declaration.

We’d been walking. More precisely, Gerald had been walking and I had been limping. We rounded the corner and before us was one of those tiny cars the Europeans favor. Leaning against it was Jennifer.

She watched us approach with interest. As she recognized me, her eyes widened and she rushed forward, nearly knocking me down as she threw her arms around me.

“Sam!” she said. I don’t think my name has ever sounded better.

“Jennifer,” I responded, since that seemed the appropriate thing to say.

Gerald was standing, arms folded, a crooked smile on his lips. He gestured toward Jennifer.

“Mr. Diamond, allow me to present….Greta.”

Look at the precision of the stone cutting...it's amazing and mysterious. Apparently this shadow has been cast for a long time.

Maternity Shoot - Joe & Rachel

I expect to be seeing a lot more of these in the near future.

Joe and Tabitha met at their singles ward. Tabitha never really wanted to go to the YSA, but was pushed to go there for one reason or another and quickly met Joe. She had recently been heartbroken by a missionary she was waiting for that broke her heart, and wasn't sure if she could trust another man, until she met Joe, who really pulled her out of that. She trusted him, and loved him quickly. She wanted to go on a mission, but soon decided that she wanted to marry Joe sooner rather than later. They were married December 18th in the Salt Lake City temple, and are 2 months pregnant! (shhh!)

A banda Carlos Bronson fará o encerramento.

Dublin Castle is not what many tourists expect and below is an example of a not untypical review:

"Not a castle at all. Basically a government building that they hang artwork in and not good artwork." This reaction is not at all surprising.

If you you intend to visit Dublin Castle you need to be aware that it is a working castle and that it has been modified many times over an extended period and that it was never intended that its main function is to operate as a tourist attraction. If you are unimpressed by the castle then it might be a good idea to visit the Chester Beatty [there is no entry fee].

The Chester Beatty is a museum and library. Formerly known as the Chester Beatty Library, it was established in Ireland in 1950, to house the collections of mining magnate, Sir Alfred Chester Beatty. The present museum, on the grounds of Dublin Castle, opened on 7 February 2000, the 125th anniversary of Beatty's birth and was named European Museum of the Year in 2002.

The museum's collections are displayed in two galleries: "Sacred Traditions" and "Artistic Traditions". Both displays exhibit manuscripts, miniature paintings, prints, drawings, rare books and some decorative arts from the Persian, Islamic, East Asian and Western Collections. The Chester Beatty is one of the premier sources for scholarship in both the Old and New Testaments and is home to one of the most significant collections of Islamic and Far Eastern artefacts.

Expect vehicles electrical on recharge, or words to that effect.

Wasn't expecting to see this in Mereworth!, though this was bit of a grab shot as it snuck up on me, and this Newly arrived ex Stagecoach in Cumbria vehicle which was the first? PS B10M delivered to Stagecoach, was climbing the B2016 Road Seven Mile Hil into Mereworth, and is now used by Hugh Lowes Farms to transport farm workers around Mereworth near Maidstone in Kent, and is one of up to 15! vehicles that have seen use here at Mereworth, and these are not the only ex Stagecoach Vehicles in Farms use in the Maidstone Area, and according to Recently Updated Google Maps Satellite Imagery some others can still be found around Five Wents, Langley, Langley Heath, Warmlake, Chart Sutton, Sutton Valence, Linton, Collier Street, Yalding and Coxheath.
