La fleur me regarda.

"Qu'importe ma couleur" me dit-elle. "Je suis une fleur et c'est bien assez pour avoir le droit d'exister."

The flower looked at me.

"What does my color matter?" She told me. "I am a flower and it's enough to have the right to exist."

La flor me miró.

"¿Qué importa mi color?", Me dijo. "Soy una flor y eso es suficiente para tener derecho a existir."

Windmills have become part of the Canarian landscape, silent witnesses of a past in which they played an important role in the economy of the islands. In the case of Fuerteventura, they existed profusely because this typology is developed mainly in arid or desert regions, taking the wind as a source of energy, to make up for the lack of water currents. To this contributed the almost permanent presence of air currents in the islands and the orography of the island, characterized by vast plains only "interrupted" by these peculiar constructions.

Their typologies are made up of two very different types, but one of them predominates numerically. The most abundant is defined by an architectural structure of flat circular plant, with truncated cone shape made of masonry, topped by an irregular conical or pyramidal wooden roof of which one of its parts is open to give exit to the axis of the blades. The interior is divided into two floors, with access to the upper floor by an interior staircase, in some cases, or exterior, in others. The other typology, of which there are fewer examples, is defined by a quadrangular building, on which rises a tower made with a framework of wooden railings, which supports the blades. In the center of the tower descends an axis that connects the gearing of the blades with the stones.

Exists in the true meaning of life is to cultivate trees, under whose shade you do not expect to pose and provide shades even to him who cuts off its boughs.

For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.

Therefore Trees are poetry that the earth corresponds under beneath the sky!

I just loved the way of my 8mm fisheye lens produced this fine capture, of this splendour tree branching out over the Edgbaston Reservoir!

Many thanks for your wonderful appreciation of comments and compliments to you here, my dear good friends !!!

Bio scope is an early form of motion-picture projector, invented during 1900. I captured the moment in a Bengali New Year carnival. Young viewer watches through the view finder and the owner dressed in dazzling attire operates the machine.

"Time exists so that everything doesn't happen at once."

Although Einstein is often credited with this quote, it may actually come from a story written by science fiction writer Ray Cummings.

Created with Dream Wombo and a texture for input

Prompt was above quote.

Style: Buliojourney v2

Without using a texture, Wombo didn't create anything worthwhile, but with a texture added for color, it did a much better job.

I forgot that you existed

It isn't love, it isn't hate

It's just indifference

I forgot that you

Sent me a clear message

Taught me some hard lessons

I just forget what they were

It's all just a blur

I forgot that you existed

And I thought that it would kill me, but it didn't

And it was so nice

So peaceful and quiet

The Marian Sanctuary in Gietrzwałd has existed since the 16th century. However, from June to September 1877, on the maple growing next to the church, the only revelations of Our Lady documented in Poland took place.

In connection with the increasing pilgrimage movement, in the years 1878-1884, the existing church was expanded. He obtained the shape that he exists today. The temple was expanded in the style of the North German Brick Gothic. The presbytery was enlarged three times and a transept with galleries was added, and the church gained the form of a Latin cross. The gable roof was covered with ceramic tiles, and a brick three-story tower was built on a square plan, covered with a high, pyramidal cupola.

The cult of the Mother of God was born in Gietrzwałd very early and was associated with the image of the Holy Mother of Gietrzwałd, which has been in the main altar of the church since at least 1505. In 1717, the painting was decorated with silver crowns and the dress of Madonna and Baby Jesus. The act of visitation shows that the cult had a local character until the mid-nineteenth century. After the apparitions in 1877, this cult gained a national character.

Uzyskał on kształt, którym istnieje dzisiaj. Świątynia została rozbudowana w stylu północnoniemieckiego gotyku ceglanego. Powiększono trzykrotnie prezbiterium i dobudowano transept z emporami, a kościół zyskał formę krzyża łacińskiego.

There once existed a habitually guarded practice, yet the thought of allowing the current to flow in so effervescently is tempting. What is there left to fear when there is such a level of assurance? Then again, the uncertainty principle remains in question as to how perception can formulate and shape delusion; trepidation caused by uncertainty. An analytical mind would insist on pushing through with the current task; while normalcy would be driven by emotional desire to find solace through unification. The moment is so delicately woven that the thought of even handling the fragility of the outcome is frightening, yet simultaneously empowering. When there is so much overwhelming delight to face the first contact every morning, having to face everything else becomes so paltry; with it, there is a drive that pushes and pulls in all directions like a supermassive vortex whirling around in it's own singularity. If it manages to grab hold and capture , there is the willingness to proceed, permitting it to engulf and overtake. That willingness to submit to its grasp is present.

why would you stress about stuff you can't change??

its waste of your energy and time.

focus on today to make a better tomorrow and let's f***ing Go!! exist loudly 🔥

Your common simple humble average backyard chook (a neighbours). I think she is beautiful. Wouldn't we miss them if they didn't exist! We would have to find an alternate source of eggs for a start. Eggplant maybe? And what we would we say other exotic foods taste like, if not chicken!

Anyway, I refuse to to make a poultry attempt at humour and run afowl of your patience ;)

The Gouldian finch (Erythrura gouldiae), also known as the Lady Gouldian finch, Gould's finch or the rainbow finch, is a colourful passerine bird which is native to Australia. Both sexes are brightly coloured with black, green, yellow, and red markings. The females tend to be less brightly coloured. One major difference between the sexes is that the male's chest is purple, while the female's is a lighter mauve. Gouldian finches are about 125–140 mm long. Gouldian finches' heads may be red, black, or yellow. Formerly considered three different kinds of finches, it is now known that these are colour variants that exist in the wild. Selective breeding has also developed mutations (blue, yellow and silver instead of a green back) in both body and breast colour. The number of Gouldian finches has decreased quite dramatically during the 20th century. Their habitat has been reduced or altered. 15304

A hungry, near extinction Bali Myna (Leucopsar rothschildi) caught a cockroach at a grass patch between blk 33 and 34, Telok Blangah Way.

Note: The Bali Myna is critically endangered and the wild population has been close to extinction since at least 1994. As of 2015, less than 100 adults are assumed to exist in the wild and only about 1,000 believed to survive in captivity around the world.

This Bali Myna is believe to be someone’s pet which has escaped.

For Switcher Saturday, we see Bath & Hammondsport S1 #4 posing with a box car for wine at the Taylor Wine company warehouse in Hammondsport, NY. Although the weather went downhill when I was there, I appreciated that they fired up this S1 for the day's trip to Bath. It was originally the only S1 that the Nickel Plate had (NKP was a hometown favorite road growing up and I had shot the #85 in Brewster in NKP paint). Although there is still an active Bath & Hammondsport railroad, this track running right to the lakefront in Hammondsport no longer exists..June 17, 1977

Giant anteaters prey almost exclusively on social insects (i.e. ants and termites). Such dietary focus significantly shapes the physical form and behavior of the species. Giant anteaters do not have teeth; instead, they have tongues can reach as much as 610 mm (2 ft.) in length! As long as the tongue is, it is relatively narrow over the entirety of its length, with its widest point being only 10 to 15 mm (0.4 to 0.6 in.). They use this giant tongue to gather insects for food, extending it up to 150 times per minute.

Their tongues are covered with tiny spines which point toward the back of the throat. Additionally, their tongue is coated with a thick, sticky coat of saliva (which is secreted from relatively enlarged salivary glands). Prior to swallowing, the insect-coated tongue is firmly pressed against the anteater's hard upper palate – crushing their meal and easing ingestion.

The stomachs of anteaters do not secrete hydrochloric acid. Instead, they depend on the formic acid content of their ant-dominated diet to aid in digestion.

They can eat up to 30,000 insects a day.

Despite their coarse fur and thickened skin (particularly about the muzzle), giant anteaters may still be agitated by the large-jawed soldier castes of the ant and termite species upon which they feed. Accordingly, they avoid soldiers both actively and tactically. The anteater's typical feeding profile could be described as a lightening strike - quick feeding action over a short period. Such a clipped feeding incursion generally outpaces a given insect colony's ability to rapidly mount a defense; thus tactically avoiding the aggravation of soldier castes.

Giant anteaters tend to pursue the larger bodied social insects, while tamanduas and silky anteaters tend to prey on smaller insect fare. Such dietary segmentation allows for different anteater species to co-exist in the same region without being in direct predatory competition.

Giant anteaters are terrestrial. Unlike other anteater species, adult giant anteaters only rarely climb trees. Instead, its powerful forearms and prominent claws are used primarily for digging and ripping in the search for food.

While the giant anteater has five digits on each foot, their first digit is reduced and the second and third digits exhibit the long claws.

Anteaters are able to detect insects with their powerful sense of smell, 40 times that of man. If threatened, the typically non-vocal giant anteater may make a bellowing noise. Additionally, they will often rear up on their hind quarters and swipe with their (up to) 10 cm (4 in.) long foreclaws.

Anteaters do not walk on the soles of their forefeet. Rather, they flex the digits upward and turn the forefeet inward, such that the large foreclaws do not come in contact with the ground. Anteaters sleep as much as 15 hours each day.

As an outcome of their diet and lifestyle, anteaters have relatively low metabolic rates. As a stark example, the giant anteater has the lowest recorded body temperature of any placental mammal – 32.7° C (90.9°F).

When observed in regions without a significant human presence, giant eaters are diurnally active. However, giant anteaters appear to adopt a nocturnal lifestyle when living in more disturbed areas subject to human activity.

Giant anteaters, save for mother/young pairs, are generally solitary. Usually only one baby is born at a time. It nurses for 6 months and is carried on the mother's back for up to a year.

"In the midst of time there exists, the possibility of an island"

We exist in a world where the fear of illusion is real

And we cling to the past to deny and confuse the ideal

Once inside, we conceive and believe in a God we can't feel

Destined by a fate so cruel

And drugged to delight

Laughing as these lies unfold

I've lost all control

Canadian Goose.

Two sizes of Canadian Geese exist. A small 22 to 26 inch and a large 35-45 inch version. They have a brownish body with a black head, long blackneck and which cheeck patch. The smaller version has a shorter neck and lacks the cheeck patch.

They inhabit lakes, bays, rivers and marshes. They often feed in open grasslands and stubble fields.

They range from Alaska each to Baffin Island and south to California, Illinoise and Massachusetts. They winter south to northern Mexico and the Gulf Coast. Widespread as a semi-domesticated bird in city parks and on reservoirs.
