Today was a good day.
I think i aced my french exam, which NEVER happends, especially in french. i had a poutine for the first time in a long time. and then a few of my friends came over to take some pictures. : )

These gentlemen become the 145 and 146 persons freed from the death rows of various states. I recently heard a lawmaker defend the death penalty because he contends it is based on biblical principles, so I had to raise the question. Is it really?

A modern day public art display that symbolizes what old Europe was like, where this spot was the center of town square executions of citizen's found guilty of crimes.
The execution yard of Auschwitz. Chris, a member of our group left his roses here. Almost all of his Father's side of the family perished here. People were herded here, naked and gunned down. Children were shot first, then the mothers and then the men. People in the cells inside the building could hear the cries of their loved ones through the walls.
