The Range Rover Evoque is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV. The firrst generation was designed by Gerry McGovern and based on the LRX concept vehicle. Launched in 2011in two models the five-door Evoque, the three-door Evoque Coupé retained nearly identical bodywork from the LRX concept vehicle, including the cabin length panoramic sun roof. No hybrid power train is currently being offered. The Evoque uses unibody rather than body on frame construction with a kerb weight of 1,670 kg (3,680 lb) and an aluminium hood/bonnet and roof, as well as a composite one-piece tailgate and is in three trim levels with each trim level having two variants as follows: — "Pure", "Pure Tech", "Prestige", "Prestige Lux", "Dynamic" and "Dynamic Lux". Originally with three engine options, two 2.2-litre turbodiesels producing either 150 PS (110 kW; 148 bhp), or 190 PS (140 kW; 187 bhp), and a 2-litre 240 PS (177 kW; 237 bhp) turbocharged petrol engine, but Land Rover have since developed their own branded Ingenium engine to adhere to EU6 emissions regulations. Three 2-litre variants are available: eD4 150 PS (110 kW; 148 bhp) turbodiesel two- wheel drive manual gearbox, or TD4 180 PS (132 kW; 178 bhp) permanent four-wheel drive 9-speed automatic, and a 2-litre Si4 240 PS (177 kW; 237 bhp) turbocharged petrol permanent four-wheel drive 9-speed automatic.
The Convertible was added to the range in 2017, again the work of Gerry McGovern, it is based on the three-door Evoque Coupé, it has four seats, a power-retractable soft top roof, 20-inch wheels. The Evoque's hatchback has been replaced with a drop-down tailgate. The Convertible has been developed with very little increase in weight and very simular torsional rigidity.
The first vehicle off the production line was gifted to the Heritage Collection at Gaydon, while the first person to take delivery of an Evoque was Land Rover ambassador Zara Phillips

Still using that ridiculously dark glazing which makes it look as though it doesn't possess an interior, the 2015 Range Rover Evoque returns for 2020. Still a very classy and rakish casting with a sporty edge thanks to its glossy red finish. Part of Case C now slowly appearing in UK Tesco stores. Mint and boxed.
Say hallo to this Evoque; a car with a heated steering wheel, painted in the color Firenze Red.
I really love the Evoque, it's such a beautiful car.

Matchbox 2015 Range Rover Evoque in 2020 Case C guise.
With so little Matchbox to find in Tesco at the moment its no surprise I've found solace at Poundstretcher who have recently gotten in huge quantities of this batch.
Mint and boxed.
One of the first budget 1/64 models of the first generation Range Rover Evoque to appear was this superb casting by Welly. All these years later they still make it in the same colours as recolours at Welly come very rarely!
Found recently at a Carrefour Market in France.

Admittedly there are some more obvious manufacturing methods on the Matchbox 2015 Range Rover Evoque which tell you this is designed to very strict cost parameters and a resolutely unchanging one U.S. Dollar price point such as its one piece plastic upper half. Its certainly no Majorette in its execution but definitely an attractive piece of design with its rakish looks and super fine front and rear detailing which IS superior to the Majorette equivalent. This is its second basic recolour and although lacks the vivid and immediate appeal of the Burnt Orange debut one this metallic black gives it a more mean and moody stance. Naturally I bought plenty of them when they initially appeared at ASDA back in April and thankfully they are now also appearing in my local Poundland stores. Mint and boxed.

Second example of the brand new Matchbox 2016 Range Rover Evoque Convertible due to buying a full case of the latest Moving Parts. Lovely detailing front and rear and a much better, though not 100% perfect, colour match on its opening doors. Mint and boxed.
