So yeah...this is from forever ago.
In orchestra we have these wars...usually violas against violins. But I decided to put it in perspective for everyone.
This piece of sculpture (and fountain) is found in the main square in Härnösand. The piece in the foreground is only one part of the artwork. If you look between the buildings you can see another black granite block, and beyond that a third. These three make up the work “Evolution”.
The building wrapped up like a Christo artwork is the Governor’s residence (think Lord Mayor of the county) which is currently undergoing exterior renovation.
Evolution - Let there be Light. Licht, veel licht was er zeker! Wat een mooie licht- en lasershow. Dat maakt het werk voor partyfotografen leuk en uitdagend :) Behalve mooi licht, werd er ook nog eens top gedraaid. Held van de avond voor mij was toch zeker wel Markus Schulz. Het was voor mij wel even wennen de weg die Tiesto in slaat. Je kunt het mooi vinden of niet, hij blijft zichzelf vernieuwen. Dat was aan de set bij Evolution ook goed te horen. En dat is zeker knap als je al zolang meegaat als Tijs. Al met al een topweekend, met eerst Reloaded..... Dance into the Future en daarna Evolution - Let there be Light. Thx. Radio 538 voor de uitstekende organisatie. Hopelijk krijgt dit initiatief een vervolg volgend jaar.

Technology is an amazing thing, especially considering its evolution. Today we have laptops, digital cameras, cell phones, and digital music players. And every day I have these items in my backpack, but are they all really necessary? Or are they only necessary because of what we have evolved them into? I wonder what Darwin would say about this technological evolution!

Finally got out to enjoy the new automotive season. Decided to do a last minute shoot with a few friends and this is the result. Haven't shot anything JDM besides a GTR/GC8, so this is a nice change in pace! Click & enjoy.
Had a bit of weather event here on the coast this weekend, I couldn't get out earlier but had the afternoon to go for a wander. I didn't fancy getting up close and wet with a howling Sou Westerly wind blowing and headed up to the northern headland with the 50-500mm lens and 'cherry pick' some views. Unfortunately the wind was even worse (but dry) up there so using the big guy was definitely challenging.
