Every breaking wave on the shore
Tells the next one there'll be one more
And every gambler knows that to lose
Is what you're really there for
Summer I was fearless
Now I speak into the answer phone
Like every falling leaf on the breeze
Winter wouldn't leave it alone
Alone
If you go?
If you go your way and I go mine
Are we so?
Are we so helpless against the tide?
Baby every dog on the street
Knows that we're in love with defeat
Are we ready to be swept off our feet
And stop chasing
Every breaking wave
Every sailor knows that the sea
Is a friend made enemy
And every shipwrecked soul, knows what it is
To live without intimacy
I thought I heard the captain's voice
But it's hard to listen while you preach
Like every broken wave on the shore
This is as far as I could reach
If you go?
If you go your way and I go mine
Are we so?
Are we so helpless against the tide?
Baby every dog on the street
Knows that we're in love with defeat
Are we ready to be swept off our feet
And stop chasing
Every breaking wave
The sea knows where are the rocks
And drowning is no sin
You know where my heart is
The same place that yours has been
We know that we fear to win
And so we end before we begin
Before we begin
If you go?
If you go your way and I go mine
Are we so?
Are we so helpless against the tide?
Baby every dog on the street
Knows that we're in love with defeat
Are we ready to be swept off our feet
And stop chasing
Every breaking wave

Every kids favorite pastime - jumping in puddles. This time, it's my sons turn. Frozen in time, I'd love to understand what's going through his mind at this very instant - the anticipation of what's about to happen must be sending his senses through overload.
Every time I want to go out in the nature and take some pictures of my dollies I get at least one of these pictures.

Every now and then Jersey Shore Fightin’ Texas Aggie Ring ’84 says, “What the hell… Screw eating healthy food.” and gets himself a delicious Scottish Egg from a local Scottish market and restaurant.
A Scottish Egg is a delicious Scottish treat made from a boiled egg, real Scottish sausage (beef, pork, or lamb) in the Scottish tradition. In Aggie Ring’s case, it’s made locally by a real Scottish cook. That is, he claims to be but his English is so unintelligible that we can’t really ask him questions to verify that he is, indeed from Scotland. The sausage is moulded around the egg, rolled in bread crumbs and deep fried (like much Scottish food).
Aggie Ring takes his Scottish egg with spicy mustard and a bit of rye whiskey on the side.
This amuses me far more than I would've thought possible. I bought the shoe on the left (and her twin) in 2011. For the first four years, they were my footwear for photographing weddings. Since then, they've been my hiking shoes. Countless kilometers have passed beneath them, endless hours of standing, climbing, crouching, walking, crawling. They've held up better than anything I've ever worn, admirably surviving the constant drenching and drying, mud-soaking and year-around beating, still in one piece. They've got a lot of life left in them, but it never hurts to have a backup. At the risk of sounding like a marketing man, these Denver Hayes Hamiltons have served me well. The shiny new shoe on the right (and her twin) came in the mail today. She's got no clue what's in store for her.

German students are raising awareness about the need to invest in birth registration – one fingerprint at a time!
The unique initiative calls on people in Germany to lend their support to Plan's Count Every Child work by donating a fingerprint.
Since November, Plan Germany's Youth Advisory Panel and Plan Action Youth Group have been running activities to collect as many prints as possible. The final display will be handed over to the German government as a kind of petition to call for the realisation of universal birth registration within effective, comprehensive and rights based civil registration and vital statistics systems.
Every spring, NH's cool nights and warm days create ideal conditions maple sugaring. Here's a look at the New Hampshire sugaring process with Brian Folsom of Folsom's Sugar House in Chester, NH.
Items shown which I take with me every day:
Keys and badge
Flashlight
First aid kit
Lighter
Batteries
Leatherman wave and bits
Personal Flatware
Sunglasses
Pen
Thermos
Items that I forgot to include:
flash drive
wallet
phone
leatherman style ps
All of these items fit in, or are attached to a maxpedition medium tactile pouch - which is attached to a hazard 4 strap that is linked to the handles of the thermos. The leatherman wave, flashlight, sunglesses, and phone have their own sheaths/pockets attached to the pouch on the outside for quickest access, and the keys and badge are attached to a d-ring.
Karen had been feeling more unsure of herself ever since the prophesied day of reckoning, as predicted by QAnon, had failed to materialise. She fervently believed in the power of deposed president Donald J Trump to battle against the ‘elite satanic paedophile rings’ that she just knew must be operating covertly somewhere out there. The internet had told her so.
The funny thing was Karen was English, lived in Kent and had no bonds to America whatsoever. She did live alone with an indeterminate number of cats however. None of this was clearly any barrier to her becoming a believer though. Now, when she thinks about just about anything her thought process becomes hazy and she quickly becomes angry. Pretty much like her picture really.
Every day’s a learning day. Or so they say. I can definitely confirm this for the days I was using a palette knife to create this image. It started out as something else but ended up as Karen here. As is life.
Cheers

Every once in a while i get a request for a photo that is a little out of my comfort range...i love these the most.
Usually the stuff i am comfortable shooting..is the stuff that everybody else photographs.
I had a small assignment to shoot a photo of one of out hutterite song books. It seemed like a strange one at first, but then i looked at it in context. The book, by itself is not the most interesting subject for a photo...but place it with a person, and in it's native environment...with lighting to create a mood. It just all looks beautiful that way.
I even got my mother to pose, with the clothing we have on at church service where this book is used.

Every once in a while I get a divine sign that life is very, very good. This sign came when a belly dancer friend of mine ask us to do a group shoot with their dance troupe as one of the dancers was moving - wow! How could we possibly say no? This was one of the best shoots I've done - very classy women and great outfits.
We did this shoot at dance studio in South Anchorage, Alaska in October 2011. I just hope Layaly asks us back to do another shoot!
Every effort is being made to maintain the architectural and historic integrity of this beautiful art deco building, while also bringing it up to contemporary museum standards. With every purchase, my Sailor Moon gang becomes more and more complete... or as complete as Bandai will allow it to get. Today, we look at one of the more expensive figures due to.. reasons. I honestly don't know... it's not like she was a Web Store exclusive like Uranus and Neptune. But anyway, today we look at the S.H. Figuarts Sailor Saturn figure.
Sailor Saturn is the last Sailor Senshi to be revealed, and is a member of the Outer Senshi, whose members include Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and the lone outstanding character of the group, Pluto. Whereas at least I recall that Pluto was the guardian of Chibi-Moon and was instrumental to her returning to the past on her search for the Sailor Senshi, I honestly don't recall much about Sailor Saturn. Her civilian identity is one Hotaru Tomoe, and her backstory is pretty crazy with Phoenix like forces, rebirths, and what not. From what I remember, she was a relatively quiet character, and was quite frightening when wielding the full powers of Saturn and her signature weapon, the Silence Glaive.
She's also the only character in the series that I can recall having actual normal looking hair, albeit an Uma Thurman in Kill Bill cut.
So, seeing how I've given up on the backstory part of things, lets look at the actual figure. The set comes with a decent amount of pieces - there's the figure, four total face plates (neutral, slight smile, eyes closed, attacking), four pairs of additional hands, including two posing hands and two for holding her weapon, the Silence Glaive, and a usual Sailor Moon Figuarts base. From an overall proportion perspective, she's effectively her own height in that there are no other characters of her size. The standard body has been scaled accordingly, including the size of her hands though I'm not entirely sure her head followed suit. Like always, the figure does a good job of portray Saturn and her general appearance, though proportionally its probably not perfectly accurate.
Articulation wise, Saturn offers nothing more (or less) than the standard Sailor Senshi figure. Ankles, single jointed knees, hips with pull down for additional range of motion, mid torso, shoulders with some chest compress and bicep swivels, single jointed elbows, wrists, and head. One difference you'll note is that while all the hardware is there, technically Saturn is a more rigid than her counterparts, as the shoulders on her tunic interfere with overhand poses. Otherwise, it's the skirt that's the usual culprit with regards to impeding of range of motion, and of course the tiny feet making standing her (and the rest of the Senshi) a test of patience.
As we're back to the OG ladies, one again the figure is predominately flat finished flesh tones with pearl finish everything else, including the hands themselves. All the paint apps are withing the usual acceptable parameters. Relatively neat and clean, with fine details and masking a bit on the weak side (kind of a let down after looking at the truly well painted Crystal release). For what it's worth, the "messy" parts on this figure are much, much cleaner than any of the other OG Senshi, including the masking work on her skirt. Paint apps themselves appear to be smooth and consistent across the board. Furthermore, decals are again sharply printed and applied straight, so no complaints here.
Build quality is predictably consistent. No issues with joints or connections, all limbs are the appropriate length, and finishes are within standard of "it looks pretty good, just don't go looking for problems". No assembly gaps or QC related issues with regards to construction, though some of the finer details didn't come out as crisply as I'd like, most notable being the relatively crude finish on the top of her head.
So in conclusion, as expected, another solid entry into the Sailor Moon lineup, with whatever issues you have with one of them being generally prevalent throughout. She's definitely not my favourite of the ladies - that honour goes to Jupiter, as from a design perspective she's pretty boring (with the exception of her weapon), but she is one of the most powerful characters due to her mastery over the forces of death, ruin, nothingness, and rebirth. As always, whether or not she makes it into your line up will depend on how you feel - as I mentioned earlier, Saturn, along with Pluto, aren't cheap - in fact, they're probably the most expensive of the Senshi with regards to aftermarket pricing, so be forewarned. The results of my search even in local Hong Kong and Japanese stores have come to the same conclusion.
With only Mercury, Mars, and Pluto to go, I'm guessing that this is probably going to be it from a Sailor Moon perspective for a while.. but again, I ALWAYS say that and something happens. Only time will tell.
