Every meeting at Sparkle was special, but one was definitely the most amusing because it was a great surprise. No, not a surprise for me, but for a friend, whose name is withheld to spare her blushes. Let's call her Jane.

I saw Jane across a bar and went over. As I arrived she introduced herself, "Hello, I'm Jane."

"I know." I said, "We met last weekend."

Jane looked puzzled so I added, "I bought you a drink; you bought me one."

Jane was totally disbelieving and, before I could say more, another friend whispered in her ear. I don't know exactly what was said, but Jane performed a classic double take. Utterly astonished, she looked me up and down, studied my face closely, then smiled and said, "Good disguise!"

Every now and again the Japanese Government sponsors children and adaults alike with some lessons in traditional art.

I experienced the last lesson out of 11 where the participants learned about traditional woodcarving. A lot of talking was involved but also a traditional tea ceremony and a lot of happy faces when they saw their prints on a traditional fan (the one people hold in their hands).

do any human beings ever realize life while they live it--every, every minute?

no...The saints and poets, maybe they do some.

Every year in the Spanish Pyrenees there is this special cycling tour which starts and ends in Isaba. This tour is famous for its heavy climbing.

This heavy Cyclo in North Navarre is known for its two extremely tough climbs that are included in the course.

Because of this the cyclo is only suitable for the well-trained cyclists, so there is a limited participants.

Here you can experience what it is like having a life as a professional cyclist for a week.

Today September 12 this event takes place again. This events was already announced on the road sides at several places, using large advertising banners.

Every now and then I wonder what the world would look like with a bit more symmetry.....

How wonderful to know that in life, as in nature, every season brings its own special beauty! Spring, summer, fall, winter -- baby, teen, adult, senior.......all are have their own season and display of unique beauty! Enjoy life -- it's wonderful every season of the year!

NOTE: Thank you for the joy you bring into my life by your visits, comments, invites, and friendship! Have a wonderful day today! :-)

Silky, smooth and firm, that's how I like lingerie. But sometimes it would be delightful to be touched in it...

Passing by, a boat slides on the sea so flat. The first beams of sun tickle eyes and the mischievous wind tangles hair... It is so sweet... As a souvenir of childhood, as every day of its childhood...

Les Sables d'Olonne (France)

We were created to be one with God and with each other.

Thought inspired by E. Swedenborg.

… and this one doubly so.

I met Heather and Jordan for a very late-night engagement shoot at the swanky hotel where they got engaged. Unfortunately the floor they got engaged on was under construction, but I said "Hey, these elevators are pretty cool." I usually try not to inconvenience anyone, but since the hotel was quiet at this time of night and there were two other elevators sitting unused, I hit all the buttons on the way down so we'd have time to set up a shot.

To get the ceiling lights and to not be in the reflection, I was crouched low to the right of the door, impossible to see until you came in. So we stopped at one of the floors and a guy walks in. "Woah, paparazzi!" he says. This is a pretty common joke people make when they see my giant camera, so I don't think much of it. Then I look up at the guy to apologize.

It's Dave Chappelle. And he thought I realliy was there for him. So he got doubly confused when I just kind of shrugged, apologized for hitting all the buttons, and went back to shooting Heather and Jordan.

"Man, I don't need this…" he said, and got off at the next floor. He wasn't really mad, but I think anyone would say that when they see two people making out on an elevator with a photographer and all of the buttons lit up.

Sorry, Dave.

P.S.: Dave has been working out. The guy was RIPPED.

Every year this beautiful tree turns into an amazing red.. not quite complete yet another week to go..

Every object and being in the universe

is a jar overflowing with wisdom and beauty,

a drop of the Tigris that cannot be contained

by any skin.

Every jarful spills and makes the earth more shining,

as though covered in satin...

Make peace with the universe.

Take joy in it. It will turn to gold.

Resurrection will be now.

Every moment, a new beauty.*

Before anyone got more or less addicted to their phone, this was a classic way of entertainment for kids. He's got pictured slides and is telling the story to them before moving to the next slide. In a way motion picture just analog. This gentleman is keeping this tradition alive and kids are enjoying it. A scene you can see almost every weekend in Neko dori.

I'm tryna come up with a systematic approach

To love you and let you go

But you're cloudin' up my judgement every time

You give me chills when you look at me like that

I don't know how I feel

Nobody, nobody's deep, deep, deep, deep

Deep, deep, deep

Somebody left me feeling empty

And somebody ripped me at the seams

But you’re bringing back all my feelings

You’re bringing back all of my feelings

I’m deep divin’ into your emotions

And sometimes, I think I might be broke

But you’re bringing back all my feelings

You’re bringing back all of my feelings

And I fuckin’ love, I fuckin’ love it

It's becoming less

Less about what I know and more about what I think

I think that I go crazy every time your lips on mine

Oh my fucking God, I wanna change my mind

But oh, you've got it in so deep, deep, deep, deep

Deep, deep, deep

Somebody left me feeling empty

And somebody ripped me at the seams

But you’re bringing back all my feelings

You’re bringing back all of my feelings

I’m deep divin’ into your emotions

And sometimes, I think I might be broke

But you’re bringing back all my feelings

You’re bringing back all of my feelings

And I fuckin’ love, I fuckin’ love it

Shy away from ya, I can't

Put your love down, I can't and I won't

Can't you see it from where you stand?

That you know I love you, know I love you

Shy away from ya, I can't (Shy away)

Put your love down, I can't and I won't

Can't you see it from where you stand? (Shy away)

That you know I love you, know I love you

Been away for a while,

"Every Cloud........." - Sunrise at Blackdog Beach, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Every kiss brings a thrill

And I know that it will

As long as I have you

Let's think of the future

Forget the past

You're not my first love

But you're my last

Take the love that I bring

Then I'll have everything

As long as I have you

Not every field in the Palouse is green, as this photo proves. This rich soil produces some of the finest crops in the world including wheat, barley, garbanzo beans, chickpeas, lentils and canola. Most of these crops cover the landscape in a green blanket that appears to be in a patchwork pattern due to many shades of green of each crop. The only exception was the rare patch of yellow that indicated that we had found a canola field (or at least we thought). After shooting this scene, we ran into a farmer that informed us that this field was actually a dijon mustard crop.

Regardless of the crop, it was a challenge for us shorter people to get a good view of the field (we couldn't find a high vantage from the road) so I climbed up onto the step of a car and shot over the car roof. While I would have loved to have been able to capture the full bottom of the tree, it was impossible from our (or any) vantage point. I went for a more minimalistic composition as the clouds and blue sky was magnificent.

Every year we try to go snow camping for my wife's birthday - this year we went to Beldersay ski resort. There wasn't enough snow to ski but we still took the chairlift to the top anyways.

I'm not much at landscape photographs but the light and clouds that day were pretty amazing.

This is the first shot taken on a recent vacation trip. Since getting back, I have been immersed in going through my photos and also in trying to better organize my entire collection of photos - no small undertaking!

I hope to catch up on visiting you all in the next few days. And I hope everyone is having a great summer!
