Last evening cloudy sunset close to my house

Shadows from the low evening sun against a building and street tree.

Usually covered in curious humans, the Burlington Pier is quiet tonight.

Re-posting a fave from last summer ;-)

In contrast to the Côte d'Azur in August, we saw the effects of Covid on Mallorca in June. There were significantly fewer tourists than usual. Because of this, there were also significantly fewer restaurants and stores open.

It was an evening of sunshine and light showers around Hathersage this evening. This image was taken from below Stanage Edge, looking over to the far side of the Derwent valley. The sun was shining but there was a light rain shower, adding a misty quality to the light.

In the evening of April 7th, 2020:

What an event! I'm always fascinated by the spectacular 'adventures' of our Earth's moon....

The image is taken in the beginning of the supermoon...

Later on, a clear and bright Moonlight still was shining through the whole night. The spectacle ended in the early morning of April 8th .

I must confess, I didn't sleep much that night because I always went to the balcony to visit this beauty again...

The image is taken in the "Seepark Freiburg " (Lake Park).

Natural light mixes in with the many lights on and around Potsdam's central train station and the integrated shopping center, and the modern IBL investment bank building (completed in 2017) a few meters up from the Havel River just beyond Nuthe Park. A nice blue hour mood as the sun sets. Some unlit bank windows still catch and reflect daylight. [SNY00197_lr_2000]

The rabbits come out every evening and forage the front yard. This one is enjoying the sweet soft grass. It's my great pleasure to watch.
