Summer sundown at Idaho's Benewah Lake. Mt. Plummer in the distance.
In addition to great fishing this is one of the marshes where the highly regarded St. Maries Wild Rice is grown.
The long train trestle in the distance is still used to haul logs between St. Maries and Plummer.

Ahh, a sunny autumn evening - the light is beautiful and the leaves are starting to turn, beautiful.

About the cathedral: built in 2020, two floors: the upper church is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the lower one is dedicated to the holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called. The interior and exterior decoration of St. Andrew's Church is focused on the best examples of Byzantine and Old Russian architecture.
The height of the temple is 55 meters. The temple is designed for one and a half thousand people. The monolithic reinforced concrete building of the temple, with a total area of about 4,500 square meters, was built on two floors, interconnected by three stairs. For the convenience of parishioners, the church has 3 elevators. The concrete elements of the dome are covered with smalt ceramics, and translucent elements are inserted into the windows. Depending on the holiday, the domes of the temple will glow in different colors.

The Callanish Stones are an arrangement of standing stones placed in a cruciform pattern with a central stone circle.
They were erected in the late Neolithic era, and were a focus for ritual activity during the Bronze Age. They are near the village of Callanish on the west coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland (source: Wikipedia).

Evening grosbeaks are a very unusual species in my neck of the world. I spotted a flock of 51 going after juniper berries.
A male Evening Grosbeak (Coccothraustes vespertinus) is observed in the boreal woods north of Thorhild, Alberta, Canada.
