The final day of the Tribhuvan International Airport Disaster Response Plan exercise on Sept 18, 2014 included an after-action review and a closing. The Tribhuvan International Airport Disaster Response Plan is a civil-military disaster preparedness and response initiative between the governments of Nepal and the United States. The plan was initially drafted in 2012 by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and Tribhuvan International Airport Civil Aviation Office. It specifically deals with emergency response and management procedures following a large earthquake at Nepal’s only international airport. The exercise ran from Sept. 15-18, 2014.

To launch the Give and Take Scheme's 'Personal Development and Mentoring' External Evaluation, we brought together young people, volunteers and staff from across Include Youth, as well as the funders of that aspect of the Scheme, for a fun day (or what we like to think of, our very own little Olympics).
A massive thank you to Belfast City Council and the Belfast Activity Centre for allowing us to have the 'run' of their space; to Big Lottery NI, Children in Need and Volunteer Now for their continued support; to Cadbury's, Moviehouse Cinemas and Dundonald International Ice Bowl for donating prizes; and to all who came along and got involved. Oh, and a big thank you to the rain, for staying away for the day!
