Benched in Southern California

At the Memorial to the Sinti and Roma Victims of National Socialism, Berlin. The memorial was designed by an Israeli artist, Dani Karavan.

An interesting array of methane gas bubbles trapped in a frozen lake, complemented by a colorful sky and reflected peaks in Yukon’s Ogilvie Mountains.

The golden hour, but in black and white. The sky had pink and orange. Hard to know what the real color was. So, i made it monotone. What drew me to this shot is how the brances are seemingly etched into the sky. Hard for me to get an unobstructed view from below. This is taken from my back window. I live in a three level row house. The trees in the far background are at least two miles away. Taken with an 800mm lens with little if any cropping, on a full frame camera

It's amazing to observe how some leaves have the perfect light on them. The shot is mostly unprocessed, was shot in RAW and the only thing i played around with was the WB.

Dedicated to this really amazing semester in college. Although at times, it seemed like a series of unfortunate events, it has helped me re-prioritize things and hopefully it has brought changes in me for the better..

Also dedicated to Foo Fighters, current favourite by them being Statues, and Nine Inch Nails for In this Twilight.

I was rather fond of the odd etched angels and saints on the front window of Coventry Cathedral. I thought of my friend Jim while taking these - they're kind of for him. :)
